Glad to see Vixen as the best new track of the week. Best female rock group, even more greater than Hole.

June 23rd 1991 - June 29th 1991
What an interesting week! Tom Petty and Bryan Adams are my two highest new entries, which is no surprise considering they are amongst the best songs either artist released in the 90's. After ELO split in two, Jeff Lynne co-wrote this Tom Petty song whilst the orchestra part of ELO continued on without Lynne as ELO Part II, they had one minor it in Honest Man that reached #60 but second single Thousand Eyes flopped but I love it and it features here at #36. In at #39 is Oxfords Britpop band The Candy Skins, they didn't break the UK until 1996 with there 3rd album Sunday Morning Fever but before that they had a few big hits in the USA Modern Rock Charts with Submarine Song and Wembley, expect to see Mrs Hoover and Monday Morning when 1996 comes around. At #43 we have Ric Ocasek best known as the vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter for the rock band the Cars and last up at #46 we have Marble by The House of Love, which was a promo single in America

After 6 weeks at number 1 Wind of Change is replaced by More Than Words by Extreme, both classics in there own right and both got to #2 in the UK singles charts, but for me both are more than deserving of the number 1 spot. Two my favourite singles from 1991 year are not represented, but honestly I didn't wait to see them in your chart.

When I starting doing my revised 1991 charts i pretty much ignored the US chart as I wasn't following it then and that made it easier to include everything I liked.
But i'm seeing so many great acts in this chart that I need to check out the songs for

I can imagine fitting them all in is a challenge, its not so bad for me at the moment with the UK chart cutting down to a top 75 and the fact I was still only 7 so its a good few year until I was interested in the chart, I'm only bringing up 3-5 new entries a week I want to chart from the UK chart but I imagine when I get to 96/97 when I was a teenager and the UK chart is back upto 100 I will struggle and might have to make it a top 75
