I'm in the air for the final so will miss it. Sounds like poor planning! Or were the flights really cheap around then! Also, you can watch on iPlayer without finding out the score beforehand (although you might want to avoid newspapers, radio, Facebook and pretty much everything else...)

The Portuguese will definitely calm down by then haha. The holiday got booked back in winter before world cup came to mind. I'll just look at BBC sport then sky bet lol.

Quarter Finals Rank 10-7 Score after 90 mins A9 Uruguay v France D7 Brazil v Belgium A10 Russia v Croatia A8 Sweden v England - Tough one, feel similar about this as I did France-Argentina, and my gut feeling is that this may go to extra-time, not expecting many goals. Just hope if that is the case that it doesn't go to penalties - we surely couldn't win 2 shoot-outs in a tournament?

Oh My, It's a tie at the top, please check the scores if you want to... Tom and Paddy lead Shireblogger by 33 points! Overall Leaderboard1 1 Tom 1909 1 3 Paddy 19093 2 Shireblogger 1876 4 4 Robin 1667 4 5 Sam 1667 6 10 Wonderwall 1656 7 6 Martin 1615 8 8 Raliverpool 1613 9 9 Raz Daz 1612 10 7 Misterhamster 1601 11 12 Suedehead 1500 12 11 Andy 1458 12 13 Smokeyb 1458 14 14 Frag 1443 15 15 DJ Nordy 923 16 16 Mad Murray 220 Feel a bit guilty about my score as I should be 11 points lower. I'd have put the Uruguay-Portugal prediction above France-Argentina. Hopefully it won't matter in the end.
