He's pulled out of the singles.
Jack Draper's match is now scheduled last on Centre.

He's still playing in doubles with Jamie. Likely to be played on court 1 on Friday weather permitting, as they usually don't like rolling the doubles net out early on centre.
David Goffin as a lucky loser has replaced Murray and the match has been moved to Court 17. You got to feel for the opponent Machac - from looking forward to a match on the most famous court at Wimbledon to being placed on the smallest outside court.
Flurry of Brits playing today but just 1 result so far - Harriet Dart becomes the 4th GB woman to enter round 2 after her win against the Chinese player Zhuoyuan Bai 6-4 6-0.

Before getting around to the rest of the Brits - a shock result as Marketa Vondrousova ended her reign as Wimbledon women's champion and became the 2nd woman, after Steffi Graf in 1994, to lose her 1st round match as defending champion.
Unsurprisingly in the women's game - we're going to have a different winner for the 7th year running.

So to the Brits then and the good news first.
The British #1 Katie Boulter safely through to the 2nd round after a tricky encounter against 2022 semi-finalist Tatjana Maria winning 7-6 (8-6) 7-5. Boulter comes into Wimbledon with good form this season after retaining her title in Nottingham and seeded at this year's Wimbledon at #32. However Tatjana Maria showed why she was a former semi-finalist by playing a game suited to the grass surface full of slices, drop shots and precision against Katie's power game.
We're guaranteed at least a Brit in the 3rd round, as her 2nd round match will be against her good British friend - Harriet Dart. They faced each other at Nottingham last month.
With 5 GB women through to the 2nd round, it is the first time this has happened since 1987.
After Murray's announcement that he wasn't going to play singles this year, the recently new British #1 Jack Draper took his slot on as the prime time match on centre court against qualifier Sweden's Elias Ymer. At 22 years old, he was the 2nd youngest British seed after Andy Murray and came into Wimbledon on the back of winning his first ATP title at Stuttgart
Watching the match, it did feel like a handing over the proverbial baton from Murray and a glimpse of what we'll be seeing in the next few years at least. He won the match 3-6 6-3 6-3 4-6 6-3.
Understandably it was a shaky start as he adjusted to life on centre court and against very spirited, tough opponent. It was a fairly quick 5 setter match at just over 3 hours play.
Draper next plays the player he replaced as British #1 - Cam Norrie in another 2nd round Battle of the Brits. He won 7-5 7-5 6-3 in a race against the day's fading light against Argentina's Facundo Diaz Acosta and ends a run of 4 1st round defeats from the French Open.
Other winners include debutant British #13 Jacob Fearnley winning in straight sets 7-5 6-4 7-6 (14-12) against Spanish qualifier Alejandro Moro Canas. He has a 2nd round match against Novak Djokovic.
Dan Evans also played today but his match was halted due to fading light - he trails 2-6 3-3 against Chilean 24th seed Alejandro Tabilo.
There were losses for Junior champ Henry Searle, Billy Harris, Paul Jubb and Jan Choinski. Also Fran Jones on the women's side

Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu will join forces together to play in the mixed doubles in Andy's final Wimbledon. I think they have had some experience playing together in doubles during the Battle of the Brits event at Roehampton tennis centre in 2020 - just as the respective tennis tours were getting restarted for the US Open after the first Covid lockdown. So it's not exactly a scratch pairing.
Obviously how far they'll go will depend on how far Raducanu progresses in the singles.
EDIT - My bad, as the LTA just tweeted out - They were opponents in BOTB.

Wow - I expected Emma Raducanu to have a tricky match today with Elise Mertens.
She trounced her though 6-1 6-2

I'd expected it would be a closer match than what it was but the scoreline was very impressive. As said before, she's playing with little pressure and expectation. She's showing her form of 2021 and glad to see she has a stable foundation with a solid team behind her. Next match is Maria Sakkari - that one could be interesting to watch.
The other good news is qualifier Sonay Kartal won her match impressively against French player Clara Burel 6-3 5-7 6-3. She could have won the match in the 2nd set, as she was a break up there as well but nerves got the better of her towards the end. Either way, it's the biggest win of her career so far and next for her is Coco Gauff.
Dan Evans lost his match carried over from last night in 3 sets. He complained the court were dangerous last night but the officials did not agree and carried on.
A very Brit-centric matches on the show courts tomorrow - court one features both the battle of the Brits, Centre court features Djokovic/Fearnley match to stand and ending with the Murray brothers playing their doubles match.

Boulter vs Dart match has been a good watch so far.
Very end to end and lot of passion out there. However not 1 player has been consistent.

A beautiful tribute to Andy Murray by the Beeb and Wimbledon. Great to see Sue Barker do the interview too. Sorely missed!
Unfortunately he lost to his men's doubles match with Jamie against Peers/Hijikata in straight sets. The Aussie pair were the better team and Andy wasn't as nimble, stretching his back a few times during the match. At least one more match at Wimbledon to go.

Boulter vs Dart match has been a good watch so far. Very end to end and lot of passion out there. However not 1 player has been consistent. To finish off the summary - Dart won her match against Boulter in 3 agonising sets 4-6 6-1 7-6 (10-8). At one point, Dart was in tears towards the end of the 3rd set but Boulter's significant number of errors - 75! - was the downfall. Dart will play an unseeded player Wang Xiyu in the 3rd round, after she beat seeded Jess Pegula. She has a good chance of winning that match.
The other Battle of the Brits of Cam Norrie vs. Jack Draper went in the way of Cam Norrie winning in straight sets 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 7-6 (8-6). It felt like watching the Cam of old and dealt with the windy conditions very well. He'll next play 4th seed Alex Zverev.
Jacob Fearnley lost to Novak Djokovic 6-3 6-4 5-7 7-5. Close match and had potential to be a 5 setter. Valiant effort against the record Grand Slam champ.
Lily Miyazaki also played today but got doubled bageled 6-0 6-0 by Daria Kasatkina.

Despite causing a few issues to her opponent early in the match, Sonay Kartal magical run at this year's Wimbledon came to an end, losing to US Open champ Coco Gauff 4-6 0-6. A good achievement after her health issues early in the year.
In a repeat of her semi final match in her successful US Open run in 2021, Emma Raducanu beat Maria Sakkari quite convincingly 6-2 6-3.
Sakkari started off strong but as with Mertens in the previous round, she offered little resistance to Raducanu's aggressive play - feeling the effects of a lack of confidence after a bad run of Grand Slam defeats herself. This result equals her best result from 2021 and she next plays a qualifier Lulu Sun from New Zealand in the 4th round.
With her current form, I think she has a great chance of progressing to the semi finals at least, where potentially she could meet Coco Gauff and face a top 5 player. Maybe another Grand Slam final?

Emma Raducanu has pulled out of the mixed doubles - due to be played later today - with Andy Murray due to stiffness in her right wrist and needing to prioritise
It does means Andy Murray has played his last match at Wimbledon.

That’s such a shame for Murray, he deserved a final celebration on centre court. Perhaps he should have picked a less selfish partner. Really hope she loses her next game.

I don't buy the "diva-ness" of Emma's decision.
Murray knew the risk of choosing a singles player as his partner and one which: - a) could have another deep run in the singles competition, good chance of going pass her previous best and a decent chance at winning it.
b) who has had three surgeries, 2 on said wrist, last year and understandable she wants to do what she can to protect it - especially in a sport where the wrist is pretty fundamental.
c) Who has hardly played any doubles matches at all in the last 4 years. Singles will always be a priority.
If the shoe was on the other foot and say - for example - Tim Henman asked Andy Murray to play a doubles competition in his final Wimbledon but Andy was in the same position as Emma was. Andy would have done the same and withdrew. Part and parcel with modern day tennis.
I know we wanted to see another match with Murray on centre again but as far as I'm concerned, his men's doubles match was a far more fitting end than a mixed doubles match with Emma will be. Just glad they did the presentation on Thursday.

That’s such a shame for Murray, he deserved a final celebration on centre court. Perhaps he should have picked a less selfish partner. Really hope she loses her next game. What a really nasty and ignorant comment. I assume you were one of the many who spent years hoping Murray lost every match he played because he is Scottish, and then miraculously changed their tune when he won Olympic gold. Murray got a spectacular, and thoroughly deserved, send-off on centre court a couple of days ago. If he wanted a second round of emotion he should have invited Laura Robson out of retirement to partner him in the mixed doubles.

With hindsight I’m sure he wished he’d picked anyone else!

Love her or hate her - Emma Raducanu is now the only British representative remaining in the singles.
Cam Norrie lost in straight sets 6-4 6-4 7-6 (17-15) to Alex Zverev which included a crazy tie break and concern to Zverev after jarring his left leg whist trying to return a drop shot.
Harriet Dart lost to unseeded player Wang Xinyu 2-6 7-5 6-3, where emotions got the better of her once again in a rain affected match. She was a break up in the 2nd and 3rd set and had her chances before losing 6 games in a row in the final set.

The Norrie vs Zverev tie-breaker was thrilling, and really high class. I doubt I'll see a better game at Wimbledon this year.

I'm a bit wary of Raducanu's stiffness in the right wrist.
She is prone to injuries but she surely has a golden chance to reach the quarters against the lowly ranked New Zealander Lulu Sun.
