Inspired by the same topic on Buzzjack. Blondie singles chain from "Denis" to "Call Me" is my personal favourite. 1. Denis (25.02.1978) 2. (I'm Always Touched By Your) Presence Dear (06.05.1978) 3. Picture This (02.09.1978) 4. Hanging On The Telephone (11.11.1978) 5. Heart Of Glass (27.01.1979) 6. Sunday Girl (19.05.1979) 7. Dreaming (29.09.1979) 8. Union City Blue (24.11.1979) 9. Atomic (23.02.1980) 10. Call Me (12.04.1980)

Union City Blue is the weak link in that chain, and to some extent Hanging On The Telephone too for me.
The Beatles' run of hits was pretty impressive.
Abba's run is quite good too. "I Have A Dream" being the weak link in their career once we get to the run "S.O.S" up to "One Of Us".
I'd also say Oasis had a run of great hit singles until "Go Let It Out" spoilt the party.
Difficult to know what you'd qualify now as a "single" post-2014 and possibly even in the download era, but the artist with the most consecutive #1s in my chart is Skinny Lister with 6 in a row: "Forty Pound Wedding" near the end of 2012 followed by a run of 5 from late 2014 to Christmas 2015: "Trouble On Oxford Street", "Cathy", "This Is War", "Six Whiskies" and "This Christmas" and their next hit in my chart reached #3 so still fairly big.

I always rather enjoyed the 1 2 3 punch that was Bad Romance, Telephone, and Alejandro.

I'd say the Kinks in 66/67 around Sunny Afternoon and Waterloo Sunset.

Yeah, and forgot to mention U2 in 90's. For me the whole Achtung Baby era is just stunning followed by Zooropa and Pop. The streak fo me ends with Last Night On Earth.

Technically All You Want is in there too, it was just chart ineligible, but still released.
But glad to see I am not the only one who had the AllSTARS* album!

Technically All You Want is in there too, it was just chart ineligible, but still released. I always wondered why it never charted at the time, now many years later (thanks to Wiki) I finally know the reason why!

For totally superb in the britpop era I'd also choose Pulp: - Lipgloss - Do You Remember The First Time - Babies - Common People - Mis-shapes / Sorted For E's And Wizz - Disco 2000 - Something's Changed then along came "Help The Aged.."

Madness' first 20 singles were all masterpieces, with the exception of "Return Of The Los Palmas Seven", which is a bit 1920s cafe.
Every Wizzard single was a blaster.

Eminem:
My Name Is Guilty Conscience The Real Slim Shady The Way I Am Stan Without Me Cleanin’ Out My Closet Lose Yourself Sing For The Moment
Absolutely astonishing quality, and somewhere in the middle of all that you’ve got his featuring credit on Dr Dre’s Forgot About Dre, his performance on which might just beat any that actually make the list.
The run was broken by Business, which I think isn’t all that well remembered, and then Just Lose It, which sadly isn’t very good at all and was a massive disappointment when you consider how good he had been up until that point. Since then he’s still had some brilliant singles, but some which are not too great too.

But glad to see I am not the only one who had the AllSTARS* album! Perfect pop album. The least successful their single spent 4 weeks at # 1 in my chart. I prefer allSTARS* over Steps and even over Bucks Fizz. It's my second favourite mixed group after ABBA. Sadly their career was short.

No guesses who I'm bringing to the table. Nine top 16 hits in a row! Yes the music was pop, but I'd like to think it was of a higher quality than other mid 80s hits. Plus the lead singer had a soulful voice at a very young age. System Addict Can't Wait Another Minute Find The Time Rain or Shine If I Say Yes Stay Out Of My Life The Slightest Touch Whenever You're Ready Strong As Steel
