This track is so fresh its not even on Spotify yet. Its basically Bring Me The Horizon meets Marmozets and is completely awesome!! I know absolutely nothing about them apart from they were Daniel P Carters rockest record!! Ok I have another fact they are currently supporting Stand Atlantic.

I had so many songs that could have been track of the day but just in the last second , my probable number one track in my next chart have just dropped the video for their single. Thank you Razzle Dazzle for introducing me to this band in the first place. Imagine Sheryl Crow meets Hole and you get the feel of this brilliant single. @alexrange think you will like this!! Track of the day from SWMRs, they are really anglophiles and say this track is influenced by The Kooks and The Clash, which you can really hear. Great riff in it.

No proper video for this yet but it had to be my track of the day. Its like Verruca Salt meets Blink 182. Potty Mouth are an all girl band from Western Massachusetts. 2019 is on fire so far!!

I was torn between two songs but I went for the classic Indie of Another Sky, how much this sounds like early Coldplay it is unreal. So maybe not as weird and off kilter as previous singles but they really are stepping up though.

Ahh go on then, this was the song I nearly used yesterday. I think a big genre of 2019 will be rap and rock together, a new more urban version of nu-metal, maybe 'Hip Rock' anyone?? I have since been told the genre is 'acid punk'. One of the acts who could be the leading light in this genre is YUNGBLUD, the indie ferocity of Liam Gallagher with the angry attitude of young Britain today!! I hope he is a star!!! Who says all kids today are snowflakes!!!??

I loved YUNGBLUD's 2017 singles and his EP, the album was decent in 2018 and this one will chart next week for me

I have liked some of yungbloods singles as well, quite Jamie t in places. Nice to see another sky step up the pace as well.

Obviously todays song will be brand new Foals!! I thought you might. Hence I went early welcoming the return of a Britpop outfit after over two decades.

How do I even start to describe this new Foals single, its like everything in the charts in 1983 mixed up together into a big brilliant epic tune and somehow it sounds like the future as well.. Everyone from Simple Minds, Duran Duran, Talking Heads, Devo, Japan, Chic, Spandau Ballet, Human League, honestly I could name 50 more bands that are in this song I'm sure I heard some Imagination in there!

I concur this is rather splendid. Kind of Talking Heads meets Japan meets a-ha.

Thanks for the better link, I couldn't remember how to do that. Yes I think Japan is the biggest influence for sure.

Just listening to the Foals, sounding good, he worried me when he said the new stuff would be nothing like the last two albums, as I loved the last album. But this is sounding different but good.

Brand new single from Blaenavon taken from their 2rd album with a much more Brit Rock sound this time so far.

I really like the new Blaenavon, I wasn't that taken with anything I'd heard from them previously but this is much more my cup of tea.

Sometimes I think Bring Me The Horizon are trolling their old fans, this is their most pop and Justin Beiberlike song yet but i don't care, its great!! It even has a Calvin Harris style EDM break. I bet the 8 songs we haven't heard will be heavy as hell and they will go Got ya!

^ Not the track I expected you to go for today, which is fine as I will have it for mine, as its video has dropped to today to go with its audio from a week ago..
