Finally I am so hyped for this, the still of the video looks very summery. Brand new Haim in 10 minutes time.

Edits: OK, Yes, apparently they've given a share of the publishing to it to avoid a "Blurred Lines" plagiarism case.

I was trying to think whilst watching the video what it reminded me of - and yes, it was Lou Reed now you’ve mentioned it - although I was thinking more down the Suzanne Vega route for some reason.
Yes, lovely, nice and subtle - really enjoyed that.

Ooh, I like it. Not quite as instantly grabby for me as their older material but it's pretty good.

What else would it be? Well the new Elbow is the best song they have done in over ten years for me.
But anyway brand new Foals not on the current album

^ Ha ha. I saw you had updated, which was fine as I had five tracks to pick from, and lo and behold you picked three of them (& mentioned a 4th which I am going to pick).
I have to say the new Mystery Jets track is especially great.

Do you know what the big song 6Music are premiering tomorrow is? If its going straight A list it must be huge?

Do you know what the big song 6Music are premiering tomorrow is? If its going straight A list it must be huge? Well tomorrow is 8th August.
The numbers 8/8 are very significant in neo-Nazi and white supremacy movements.
Because the letter H is the eighth letter of the alphabet and to [neo-Nazis] the numbers 8/8 together stand for Heil Hitler.”
So being aware of that I would say the favourite is the proper full audio version of Lana Del Rey's "Looking For America".
I'm also aware that The Weeknd; & Kasabian are dropping "surprise" new material imminently.
Plus it would not surprise me if The 1975 drop a new track before "People" on 16th August.
However, it has become increasingly common for acts to drop new material with next to no notice (& not hyping it Beyonce style) especially in alternative rock circles since David Bowie's surprise "Where Are We Now" 2013 single after most people had thought he had retired.
