15/01/2019 Ten Tonnes - Better Than Me
The Hertfordshire born, London based singer/songwriter releases his debut album on 5th April 2019. This power pop track with a cracking chorus reminds me of a cross between Blossoms & Nick Heyward.

I'm looking forward to hearing the album as I like what I've heard from him so far. He will be supporting his big brother on tour shortly.

24/01/2019 Vampire Weekend - Harmony Hall
The New York indie art rockers first single in six years is taken from their forthcoming 4th studio album Father of the Bride which will be released in the spring of 2019. I prefer this late 1960s Rolling Stones go baroque pop sounding track to the other new track by them released today "2021".

26/01/2019 Brutus - War
This Belgian power trio comprising drummer/singer Stefanie Mannaerts, guitarist Stijn Vanhoegaerden, and bassist Peter Mulders release their second album Nest, out in March 2019. Musically think Sinead O'Connor fronting the Idles. Powerful stuff.

27/01/2019 Laibach - My Favorite Things
Everybody's favourite Slovenian industrial avant-garde rock group released their 13th album The Sound of Music on 23rd November 2018 which was a reinterpretation of the soundtrack of the musical of the same name. Thanks to Ariana Grande's awful use of Rodgers and Hammerstein penned The Sound Of Music track, BBC 6 Music Radio have been giving this track a number of spins, as it is effortlessly superior with its manacing gothic delivery & the eerie children's choir.

Just heard this on the Daniel P Carter show, amazing. I actually was put off listening with the Idles comparison but this isn't that kind of punk to me it's more emo hardcore and I prefer that.
