Day 24: (24/01/2019) The Supremes - Love Is Here And Now You're Gone
I could have picked any single by Haven Factor 2 winners, The Supremes, but here is their #17 hit from 1967.

Not one of my personal Supremes' favs.
I can only think it made #1 in the US on the back if the monster You Can't Huury Love and You Keep Me Hanging On singles.

Day 25: (25/01/2019) Blondie - X Offender
The winners of the very first Haven Factor get today's track of the day, and this is their excellent debut single.

Blondie set such an amazingly high standard - can't really think of any of their songs I didn't like.
Great debut single - should have been massive.

Sadly "X-Offender", "Rip To Her Shreds" and especially "In The Flesh" were not hits in UK.

Day 26: (26/01/2019) Biffy Clyro - Folding Stars
Seeing the line-up for this year's Isle Of Wight festival has inspired me to listen to some old Biffy, and this #18 hit from 2007 is one of my favourites.

Love "Folding Stars"... "Puzzle" is still their best album for me.

Day 27: (27/01/2019) Yellow Magic Orchestra - Behind The Mask
This is the 1979 original of the track that was transformed by Michael Jackson for his 'Thriller' album, but was left unreleased until the posthumous 'Michael' album. Eric Clapton had a hit with the song in 1987.

A brilliant track, which then makes me want to post .....

Day 28: (28/01/2019) Vampire Weekend - Walcott
As they have new material out I have gone back to the brilliant Vampire Weekend debut album from 2008, and this is my favourite song from it.

Day 29: (29/01/2019) Knife Party - Bonfire
I'm not normally a massive fan of this type of music, but this is just a classic.

Day 30: (30/01/2019) Lynsey De Paul - Sugar Me
I've literally got nothing else today, so here is the latest act to leave the Haven Factor with her #5 hit from 1972.

Day 31 (31/01/2019) Bee Gees - Love You Inside Out
This Bee Gees 1979 number was a US #1 but only reached #13 in the UK. I really like it.

An underrated song from that album, although I think the title track is the best track on it. For those people who thinks Steps cover of "Tragedy" was the best cover version of a Spirits Having Flown album track, they are of course wrong, as this Canada #2 hit from 2005 proves (way before her international hit "1234"):

Day 32: (01/02/2019) HAIM - Want You Back
American girlband's 2017 single, 'Want You Back', is my retro track of the day from yesterday. I had heard it before but it came on Spotify randomly yesterday and something just clicked with me.

Day 33: (02/02/2019) Pebbles - Girlfriend
I was reminded of this blast from the past yesterday and had completely forgotten how good it was. I can't believe its over 30 years old though!

Day 34: (03/02/2019) Five Star - I Give You Give
Just catching up, and I've been listening to some old Five Star this evening. This little known, but rather good, single of theirs was released in 1995 to little attention.

Day 35: (04/02/2019) Foxes - Amazing
One from 2016 which I assumed a massive hit, but I just checked and it tragically didn't even make the top 100.
