Great list, I'd have many on there on my own list. In fact I kind of want to compile my own version having seen this but I can only imagine how long it would take...!

In my version of the same list minimum 30 % songs (maybe even more) will come from Lithuania.

Good music never stopped but good music reaching the charts did stop. But not in 1999. It went on for about another decade, then good music generally stopped charting: sometime around 2009.
So let's wait another 10 months then see if we can work out what "classics" there were in the 2010s. Aside from one or two, I doubt we will find many we agree upon.
Classics are not just great songs. They are great songs that are well known.
