I'm booking tickets for gigs that I'm really keen on. I have three from 2020 that have now been pushed back into 2021, so fingers crossed.
I always book by credit card, so even if the venue and the promoter goes bust, I'll get my money back if the show never takes place. And I want the venues / promoters / artists to hang on to my cash, rather than risk them going bust by being forced to hand back refunds.

It's frustrating that box offices remain closed. If I want tickets for events at the Brighton Centre or the Dome, I would prefer to go to the box office and save the rip-off booking fee.

That's a good way to look at it Shireblogger . I may go ahead and book anyway - will be nice to have something in the calendar to look forward to. Currently the only gig I have next year is Crowded House which is in July and IIRC an outdoor venue so hopefully will be able to go ahead.

Decided to bump this as I (and I assume most of the rest of us) actually have some gigs to go to again That long-delayed Crowded House gig finally happened last week, and also currently booked are: Blood Command (September) Biffy Clyro (November) Also weighing up Soccer Mommy in September but I don't have a lot of spare cash right now.

I went to see an 80s band a few weeks ago called The Breakfast Club, they were decent, not a lot planned for the rest of the year though

I've just got a couple of festivals booked - Cornbury for the day on Friday where I'm seeing James Blunt, The Darkness, The Magic Numbers and The Shires (among others), and the Victorious festival for the whole weekend in August, which has Sam Fender, Stereophonics and Paolo Nutini as headliners - plus a host of other great acts!

Since gigs resumed I've seen The Lathums, Public Service Broadcasting (twice), Suede, Bastille, OMD, Tom Robinson, Ride, Divine Comedy and Ed Sheeran (at a 600-capacity venue). The only one lined up so far is Public Service Broadcasting at the proms.

I considered Ride earlier this year, just couldn't make it work sadly.

I'm off to see McFly at Bridlington Spa a week tomorrow, which I have to admit I'm quite looking forward to.
I'm finally going to get to see The Birthday Massacre again at The Fulford Arms in York on 2nd November, then on the 8th, I'm hopefully going to see the Kaiser Chiefs at Hull Bonus Arena, and on the 19th, I'm seeing Evanescence and Within Temptation at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

I have nothing planned gig wise, with work commitments and travel we usually look at weekend gigs only and surprisingly hardly anyone does gigs on the bloody weekend!
