Sam tells me 16 Yorkshire clubs have played in the Football League, we've named 15, who are we missing? We even got Darlo, Scarborough and Bradford Park Avenue! Middlesbrough Ironopolis by any chance?

Oh and Darlington's in County Durham not Yorkshire, so you're missing two.

Off the top of my head:
Middlesbrough Middlesbrough Ironopolis Sheffield Wednesday Sheffield United Bradford City Bradford Park Avenue Leeds Huddersfield York Barnsley Rotherham United Doncaster Hull Scarborough Rotherham Town (later merged with Rotherham County to become Rotherham United)

You're right, so that's 17 before Harrogate have kicked an EFL ball.

The mention of Middlesbrough Ironopolis led me immediately to think of Leeds City.

Get in, brilliant game, funny to think where they have come from, Railway used to be the bigger team! I hear they are ground sharing with York at their new ground while the grass gets laid at Wetherby Road. Better team won, sure County will go up automatically next year! Middlesbrough is Teeside to me Credit to Harrogate, they played really well and I think they’ll do quite well next season, probably better than Barrow. The positive for Notts, we’re in a much stronger position on and off the field than we were 12 months ago, so hopefully we can deliver some consistent results and get back in the league.

Wigan have lost their appeal and their relegation to League One is confirmed.

Championship Play-Off Final
Brentford 1 Fulham 2 (AET, 0-0 at 90 mins)
Disappointing as I wanted Brentford to win but well done to Fulham who make a quick return to the Premier League after just one season in the Championship.

I wanted Fulham to win but wasn't overly bothered either way, Brentford just seemed to choke/run out of steam

Fulham looked worse then Norwich. Straight back down I reckon.

I reckon
Fulham WBA Villa
with Sheff Utd having second season syndrome and Palace continuing their ends of season form (1 point in the last 6 games)
Newcastle and Brighton will be happy there are 5 worse teams

Teams that suffer second season syndrome tend to have had a pretty poor second half of their first season. That didn't happen to Sheff Utd so they may do well again.

Could do ok, looking at their last 9 games, 3 wins, 1 draw and 5 defeats, it looks fine but I just think they won't be a surprise package anymore, all they need is a slow start and a few 70k a week "improvements" to disrupt the dressing room when things start to go wrong and the lads on 3k a week who are putting in 100% graft start pointing the finger, they will be the ones dropped too if signings come in, I've seen it fall apart far too often to rule it out, they don't have the quality to get them out of trouble if the team spirit gets eroded away, it has to be more of the same if they want to hit 40 points, maybe the pandemic helps them and not having the options to make significant changes could be a blessing

I'd have liked to Brentford to have gone up but I don't have much sympathy for them. They had three chances to seal promotion and bottled it each time. They should be up there again next season though.
Boro could be there or thereabouts under Neil Warnock. No-one knows the Championship better than him so if he can't get them promoted, no-one can.
Even though they were the worst team in the Premier League, Norwich might be the best placed of the relegated clubs to go back up.
