I thought Snow Patrol had cancelled.
I saw Bastille at the IoW festival a couple of weekends ago and they were brilliant.

I'm watching Idles back up my opinion they are the best new UK band of the past 5 years right now with their visceral brand of indie rock.

Stormzy was fantastic.
What in God’s name has Tim Burgess got on his head? 😂

Stormzy was indeed superb.
Irrespective of whether you are a fan of the UK Grime artist and his music. (Much like The Prodigy in 1997) Anyone who watched that, and thought that was not good, does not recognise when something is great because of their own prejudices.
The only act I'v watched on the iPlayer so far who disappointed me were The Charlatans who seemed to be rather lethargic, and going through the motions.
I'm now watching Tame Impala from last night.

grime as a genre to me sounds like I imagine hardcore metal would to a pop fan, complete opposite end of the spectrum taste wise, I wouldn't call it prejudice if you don't think its good!

Am I the only person who finds watching the live performances on the TV depressing? It just makes me wish I was there even more!

I don't even care if it's raining haha.. there's nothing else in the world that compares with the buzz of being in an open air live music event. Especially if it's someone you love playing.

Only in the same way that I appreciate Barbra Streisand or Celine Dion are talented and great live but I'd rather not listen to them. People can have preferences like all the people who saw Tame Impala instead.

I watched a bit of a highlights show last night, but they preferred showing us how they built a stage to showing us live performances, I think Sam Fender was on there, but I switched it off in frustration. Sadly been out all day so dont have time for all the stuff on iplayer, Killers and Cure playing? Cure will be interesting.

I did see a bit of Janet Jackson earlier, but wasn't overly impressed. Then I turned over to see Lizzo squeezed into the smallest bikini 😀... I did quite enjoy her set.

I'm watching The Killers atm. I assume the other members of the band are still refusing to have a haircut until they can bring themselves to like Brandon Flowers. OTOH, they clearly accept that he helps them to bring in a tidy income.
Whatever you may think of him, Brandon is still a fantastic front man and The Killers have an impressive catalogue of great songs.

Oh, and Brandon is still very easy on the eye.

Yep Killers were brilliant, I wish I was there. I have seen them twice but that 'This Charming Man' moment was amazing. Brandon was so enjoying it you could see it was fulfilling a childhood dream.
And yes even as a straight guy, can't help having a man crush on him he doesn't look 38.
