OK, Who else watched the opening episode of the third series (I'm not spoiling the result for those who will be watching on catch up):
My early predictions (I'm not banking on any of them at the moment)
Knitting - Claire Richards (deliberately singing badly)
Jellyfish - Amber Riley (with a bit of a sore throat, but I'm wondering if it is Lulu, as she sounds like an older singer and has grit to her voice)
Otter - Pauline McGlynn (I'm struggling with this could be any Irish actress, i.e. one of the Derry Girls, etc or maybe it is Killing Eve & Fleabag actress Fiona Shaw)
Ghost - Paddy McGuinness (purely for the comedic performance and the drink related clue; unless those Oooo clues are a reference to Dr Who, so maybe it is Lewis Capaldi gloriously hamming it up his Scottish accent as the rubbish costume would brilliantly disguise his body shape)
Cat & Mouse - (top vocal coaches) David and Carrie Grant (I'm 100% struggling at this point. Mouse can definitely sing, and I suspect Cat can. But they were the vocal coaches for The Spice Girls which lead to them appearing in the first Popstars programme, and subsequently Fame Academy)
Phoenix - Ricky Wilson (I think it is the Kaiser Chief frontman, but I'm wondering if the TMS is recycling Donna Osmond from the first US series).

Knitting - initially I thought it was Sinitta (although her legs looked too big) but I'm fairly sure its Claire Richards (based on a couple of the clues) Jellyfish - Jodie Prenger Otter - Emily Atack Ghost - this was obviously Chris Kamara Cat & Mouse - no real idea at the moment. Possibly Tom & Giovanna Fletcher but it's rare the panel guess it correctly on week 1 Phoenix - Spencer Matthews

OK, For those who have not watched the second episode of this 2023 series (I'm not spoiling the result for those who will be watching on catch up, but IMHO the best of three losers of the 3 Head to Heads got given the KO, so shame on the judging panel): My guesses: Jacket Potato - I've heard that voice before which does not belong to a (proper) singer. My first guess is Shane Richie; but it could be Brian "It's a Puppet" Conley; but I would not rule out some 1990s early 00s US comedy/voiceover actor like (going by the VT clues) Tim Allen. Fawn - The clues point to Rachel Riley (who can sing); but that could well be a misdirection, I wonder whether it is Call The Midwife's Helen George (she's played Sandy in a UK theatre run of Grease, and she is/was a properly trained singer) Rubbish - I think the panel have jumped on the wrong sport, and it is not Cycling, but Snooker. Hence take your pick from any that would be household names. So for now my holding guess is Steve Davis. Pigeon - I currently think it is Emily Atack, but I've got a nagging doubt it might be comedy actress/impressionist Morgana Robinson doing her Adele karaoke impression on the TLC classic. Piece of Cake - Lulu (100% bank it now, holding back her natural abilities with that fellow carrot tops recentchart-topper). On top of the VT clues - as a Beatles fan I know she sang (uncredited) female vocals on this track to strengthen Linda's vocals (go to 34 seconds in www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ppNnQ-slEg ) when she was married to Maurice Gibb (the Bee Gees). Rhino - I reckon it is Charlie Simpson (Busted); and am staying off the James Arthur train of thought. But I know from what the host has said, he is a fan of emo rock so that has left me wondering whether he thinks it is Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro).

Jacket Potato - possibly Brian Conley but I'm not very confident
Fawn - no idea yet
Rubbish - no idea yet
Pigeon - a comedian doing an accent
Piece of Cake - definitely Lulu
Rhino - pretty sure it's James Arthur. I don't think the Lead singer of Biffy is recognisable enough to be booked.

Well i got that one who went tonight right, i knew the voice and one of the clues.
As soon as we heard the VT i thought Pigeon is the GC definately sounds like her, but it could be someone deliberately putting on a voice and i think Emily Atack is another good guess.

To save me repeating myself.... I'm now very confident thinking my first week's guests for Knitting; Jellyfish; Phoenix were correct. Cat & Mouse = I think it is The Kemps (former Spandau Ballet bassist turned actor Martin & former Wham backing singer & half of Pepsi & Shirlie wife Shirlie Holliman). Otter = It is not a singer... I'll go with Irish actress Fiona Shaw, but it could easily be Mel Giedroyc for the comedic physicality.

He said again seven times (world titles) = Ronnie O'Sullivan. Fawn = I've clocked that vox I'm pretty sure it is last year's winner "Panda"'s namesake best friend Natalie Appleton (All Saints). Rhino = I'll stick with my gut instinct = Charlie Simpson (Busted). Pigeon = I think my last time guess was correct Emily Atack. Jacket Potato = This is tough I'll stick with my either/or guess from their first time singing, as they revealed they can hold a tune, but are not a proper singer.

After sing off songs: Jacket Potato = Steve Davis. Final Answer. Jacket Potato sounded a bit like Richie Sambora?

I don't think the Lead singer of Biffy is recognisable enough to be booked. My updated guesses Jacket Potato - still think Brian Conley Fawn - Sonia (although not sure she could disguise her accent) Rubbish - Steve Davis Pigeon - Dawn French Rhino - sticking with James Arthur

Well i guessed Rubbish was a snooker player from the clues but i also thought Steve Davis too so i got the profession right at least
Fawn i did think All Saint especially with the Marmalade clue referring to Lady Marmalade but when Rita said Delta Goodrem that is also a good guess and i think she did play Olivia in a Grease mini series. And it would refer to topsy turvy land too.
Rhino he does sound like James Arthur
Jacket Potato and Pigeon not sure

She was great entertainment and should have survived over Baked Potato IMHO.
