Just rediscovered Cosmic Rough Riders - were they 90s or 00s? Not that great anyway, but I totally forgot I had the album.
I attended a music quiz in a London pub recently where one answer was The Thrills. No one got it.

Ha I was in a pub that was playing the Thrills last month, couldn't believe it, hadn't heard them for at least a decade I have Too Close to See Far (2003) by Cosmic Rough Riders on vinyl for 99p and I love that album, think they were more early 00's They actually had 4 top 40 singles! "Revolution (In the Summertime?)" (July 2001) UK #35"The Pain Inside" (September 2001) UK #36"Because You" (June 2003) UK #34"Justify the Rain" (September 2003) UK #39

The last two being singles from Too Close to See Far Not a forgotten band this time, but I was in a record shop today and they were playing Teenage Fanclub. They had a good excuse - they were selling tickets for a gig in November. I will finally get to see them after all this time.

The lead singer of Northern Uproar featured in tabloid newspapers due to a rumoured relationship with Sinitta and is he a lot younger than her? In other words, her Toy Boy?

Their hype was because one of the band was formerly a journalist with The Face and basically got himself in all the music papers.

Has anyone mentioned Rialto? Didn't know much by them but I'm pretty sure I swa them at the V Festival in Leeds in 1998. This was a great track, top 20 hit too
