Oh and the University Boat Race, which amazingly was to feature Oxford and Cambridge in the final again, is cancelled.

So is there any sport anywhere that still exists? Think I heard there was some behind closed door boxing? Trying to think of a sport you do on your own, but I'm struggling.

The GB Olympic boxing qualifiers have been taking place behind closed doors but are being suspended after tonight. As it stands, this week's snooker is still on (behind closed doors) and horse racing continues (behind closed doors). My guess is the Grand National was cancelled as it would still have been such a large gathering of people, even with no spectators allowed.

Racing is still going ahead, albeit with no spectators. After all, betting companies are major donors to the Tory party and we can’t have them losing income.

As China is claiming to have all but eliminated the virus, with its only new cases being detected in a tiny number of foreigners, presumably the Chinese Super League, will start up soon ? It was originally scheduled to begin on 22nd February, but was postponed at the time.
No British players, but a few names British fans will know, including:- Marouane Fellaini (Shandong, ex-Everton, ex-Man Utd) Mousa Dembele (Guangzhou R&F, ex-Spurs) Oscar (Shanghai SPIG, ex-Chelsea) Marko Arnautovic (Shanghai SPIG, ex-Stoke, ex-West Ham) Paulinho (Guangzhou Evergrande, ex-Spurs) Graziano Pelle (Shandong, ex-Southampton) Salomon Rondon (Dalian Pro, ex-WBA) Stephane Mbia (Shanghai Greenland, ex-QPR)
Of course, the Super League might not start up soon, for some contrived reason, which, according to the Chinese Government and its state controlled media, has nothing whatsoever to do with coronavirus.

NASCAR will try to return with the May 9 race at Martinsville, and the canceled races until then will be made up.
Major League Baseball says that its season will begin in mid-May.

Apart from the £100m they will lose out on with the Grand National being cancelled. I would expect British horse racing to be suspended before the end of the week if not sooner.

Not exactly sport but WWE has announced this year's Wrestlemania, which was due to be staged at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on 5th April, will instead take place at its own Performance Center in Orlando, with no fans in attendance.
The company took similar action for the most recent episodes of Raw and Smackdown, an example of which is below.

UEFA has announced Euro 2020 will be postponed until June 2021. The playoffs, which were scheduled to be played this month, have been rescheduled for June. Having the playoffs in June makes no sense. Many players' club contracts expire on June 30th, so European Leagues (which is apparently an organisation overseeing club leagues across Europe) want the domestic and European competitions to be finished by then. Man City have up to 16 matches still to play, even with one legged European ties...

The chess candidates is going ahead, started today.
You can watch live streams at many chess sites, my own preference is generally chess24.com and you can watch with commentaries on twitch.tv channels.
The candidates is a tournament of 8 players to decide who will play against Magnus Carlsen later this year for the world title.
