This is something I've had up my sleeve for a little while. I was going to wait to post it but now seems a very fitting time.
What would happen if all the league positions were decided at random? Who would win? Who would be relegated? Could a team climb all the way from the lower leagues up to the Premier League? Well we're going to find out.
I've used a random number generator to decide the positions of every league from the Premier League right down to the 11th tier of English football. Clubs are then promoted and relegated accordingly at the end of each season.
For each season I will list the champions, European qualifiers and promoted and relegated teams for the top 6 tiers. After every 5 seasons, I will list the full line-up of the 5 national divisions.
There was really no point to me doing this when I first started a few months ago but now it actually seems a tiny bit useful.
I've started with the league constitutions as they were at the start of this season. Due to the uncertainty over Bury, they were left out of the first season and placed in the National League at the start of the second season.
First season's outcome coming soon...

So is this going to be something completed for each season in the (puts on strange mystical goblin type voice) ...... future...
In the same way when I played Football Manager back in the day (early 00s) Cherno Samba became the greatest striker who ever existed.
If so this is a great idea.

Looking at the Premier League ..... delighted to see Financial dopers Abu Dhabi United; & Chelski relegated.
Whilst the Hammers deserved it for Karren Brady's self vested comments about the Premiership being made void so ignoring recent FIFA precedent in the Yugoslavia & Chilean Leagues when they were not completed, but over three-quarters finished so took as Final standings (with Pts per Game format used for differentials).

West Ham fans hate Brady more than you ever could, not sure what she does to earn her million pound wage at West Ham

Nice to see Pompey's sojourn in the Championship lasted for just one season. And to see Leeds Utd continue their descent.

That's quit an ascent for Barnet. Nice to see Pompey back where they belong in Division 4.
