HAVEN COMBI RETRO-CHART W/B 13th MARCH 1988

It’s time for another joint chart-topper. This time it’s Belinda Carlisle sharing the number one position with Eighth Wonder.







Belinda manages a second week at the top with I Get Weak and it’s a first for I’m Not Scared for Patsy Kensit and co.

The song that’s registered the most individual number one placings is at number three. Crash by The Primitives remains at number three, currently topping three charts. 

The former number one by Vanessa Paradis, Joe Le Taxi, is down one place to number four.

All of the top four records are in decline, leaving the way open for a possible new number one next week. Could it be the turn of British reggae group Aswad as Don’t Turn Around flies up ten places to land at number five in a rapid ascent of the Retro-Chart.
They’ll need to be quick as there’s a new record from the Pet Shop Boys also about to make an appearance…..

Highest new entry is from Tiffany, straight in at number 17 with Could’ve Been, as she follows up her recent number one hit, I Think We’re Alone Now.

There’s a huge climb of 27 places for Climie Fisher as Love Changes (Everything) zooms up the chart following a recent re-entry on the chart.

It's nowhere near as good. Maybe could be compared to "Staying Together" otherwise all of Debbie's singles were better from the first and second album.
