Not a pairing I was expecting to see! I like it - but would have liked it 100 times more without Sting on it.
What brought this around - is this another Coronavirus recording from a home studio type thing?

It was recorded pre-virus.
They performed it on Children in Need s couple of years ago and decided to record it. They sent it to Sting to ask if he would play guitar and he liked it so much he added vocals too.

It's like the original but with everything that made it good taken out.
The best thing about the original was the change of pace between verse and chorus. This just plods along like a Peugeot with a flat tyre.

All Saints have made some really great music over the years but I hope I Never Ever have to hear that again.
I stick to the peerless 1979 original.
