26 (-12) Eternal :: 132 pts -- 6 listsAnother surprise ? Only six people placed Eternal in their personal Top 20s. They are krescendo’s 2nd favourites. 25 (+16) Belle Stars :: 134 pts -- 7 lists Way too low, IMHO. 5th on Shireblogger’s list was the Belle Stars’ best showing. 24 (-9) B*Witched :: 135 pts -- 8 lists“I like them, but not a lot”, seemed to be many people’s verdict. 8 lists, but never better than 9th.

Rewind is a classic Smurfie! #11 was a shame. Good for Mis-Teeq, great run of singles and a good first album. I even bought the Rewind single! But the album did nothing for me and therefore I could not nominate them just because of one song.

Surprised at Eternal, thought they’d be in or near the top ten. I like them but again, never really more than just like.

Sleater-Kinney are an act I might consider getting in, listened to one album and liked it, but would have to listen to more...Shame about the Crystals, I'm going to spotify them tomorrow as my listening pleasure.

23 (NEW) Pipettes :: 149 pts -- 6 listsThe one many of you have been waiting for. They may never have placed a single higher than #26 in the UK charts, but lots of people at Haven like the Pipettes. They finished 8th in Haven Factor 6, beating Pulp, Boney M, Tiffany and Tori Amos, amongst others. Points here from vastar iner (1st) and raliverpool (1st), ManicKangaroo (5th), darkstar79 (6th), Roo. (12th) and smokeyb (12th). I asked each of them which their favourite Pipettes song was. “Pull Shapes” was named twice, so here it is.

B*witched got nostalgia points for me - I think I would struggle with more than a couple of tracks in a row nowadays.

B*Witched had more than a few decent singles - To you I belong, Blame it on the weatherman and I shall be there. Most of the album tracks were fillers and their first 2 singles are just too cheesy.

The Pipettes were crossed off my list at the last minute when I realised I had one act too many!

22 (-3) Salt-N-Pepa :: 157 pts -- 8 listsMore hip-hop fans in the house than I was expecting, which is great to see. 3rd with darkstar79 and 5th with SheriffFatman. darkstar79 is the first person to have seen all of his Top 3 appear. In fact, 11 of his choices have already come and gone. I hope you’ll stay tuned. 21 (-8) Atomic Kitten :: 157 pts -- 9 listsThere were some pretty negative comments written in the thread about Atomic Kitten. But they were balanced by love for “Whole Again”. 9 people put them in their Top 20, but never higher than 9th. 20 (+1) Haim :: 164 pts -- 9 listsI didn’t know what to expect from Haven with regard to Haim. 20th overall isn’t bad. 2nd for TheThorne and 6th for Jordan.

Might have to check some of these ones out actually.
Atomic Kitten I liked a lot as a teenager, but they really were the most basic of bands and I’d never choose to really indulge nowadays despite owning all the albums.

I had Salt-N-Pepa at #8.
'Whole again' is literally the only song I can tolerate Atomic Kitten singing, but it is a great song admittedly. They didn't get anywhere near my top 20 though!
