Not only has Britain won medals in skeleton at every Games it has been in since 2002, Britain also won medals both times it was in before (1928 and 1948), when it was called tobogganing (in 1928) and cresta (in 1948).
Both medals were bronze; the first won by the 11th Earl of Northesk, the second by John Crammond. Crammond was a 41 year old stockbroker who seems to have been something of a thrillseeker; as well as being a Cresta Run regular he was a yachtsman and pilot who flew for the RAF in the war. Later became a reporter for the Observer on the Winter Olympics.
