I will start of my saying there will be some huge omissions here, as I never got past episode 2 of The Wire or episode 1 of Sopranos and not watched. Many big HB0 shows are absent but I will get to them one day. I will for sure have forgot something I loved as well but just spent an hour on this so hopefully its pretty good. There are also shows that I have watched every episode and did not make the cut and shows that I never finished that did, its just time and circumstance.
Also I have excluded shows that have most of their run in the 90s such as Friends,Frasier, Buffy and X Files.
Lets start!!
100 How I Met Your Mother
I was very late to this show, I watched it a bit at the time but since I have watched about 6 seasons on Netflix. Its not super hilarious and the characters aren't that likeable but it just kind of sucks you in. Lots of great moments and definitely one of the better US comedy shows of the 00s but its quite a bit behind the front runners. One day I will get to the end of the show!

Don't be so sure, it won't be your class Guardian certified list hehe
99 Deal Or No Deal
We were all obsessed with this show, such a simple concept but every day we got drawn into their stories, the magic, the methods, the tricks, the pure blind luck. Noel somehow was the magic ingredient. It still runs in the US.
98 Arrested Development
More US comedy, about a once rich family who do everything they can to keep it looking that way, son Michael does his best to try and keep them on the straight and narrow. The first 3 seasons were just brilliant, they should never have brought it back though, untainted this would be in my top 50.

97 Preacher
Based on the hit comic this is one of the most over the top shows on TV, gore, sex, language, just bat crazy sh*t every week. Almost a perfect version of the graphic novels apart from a couple of misfires in casting Im sorry Ruth Negga, you are a brilliant actress but just 'No. No. No. No!!'. But Dominic Cooper as Jesse, Joe Gilgun as Cassidy and Pip Torrens as Herr Starr were absolutely brilliant. As were the many other characters such as Saint Of Killers and Arseface.
From Google Fulfilling a promise to his deceased father, one-time outlaw Jesse Custer returns home to West Texas to take over his dad's church. Jesse's mission, however, becomes twisted when his body is overcome by a cryptic force that unleashes within him a highly unconventional power. Together with hell-raising ex-girlfriend Tulip and Irish vagabond Cassidy, the preacher-in-training embarks on a journey to find God in a world inhabited by holy, hellish, and everything-in-between characters.

96 Killing Eve
The Beeb can do crazy as well and you can't get much crazier than Villanelle. This doesn't really need much explanation. Just a weird blend of black comedy and spy thriller with a very unlikely love story running through it as well.
Ok controversy time!!
95 Iron Fist
I will defend this show, it is not as awful as everyone made out. It captures the comics very well and again maybe we could have had a better cast Iron Fist but season 2 really makes up for the dullness in parts of Season 1. It should have been a rollercoaster like Daredevil and Punisher, it isn't but its not bad either.

94 Green Wing
It was difficult to think back to comedies I loved, I probably have missed some sketch shows and maybe Black Books should have made the cut but I couldn't leave out this surreal gem. This is a British comedy set in a hospital and it is full of actors who will become household names over the next 15 years such as Mark Heap, Tamsin Greig, Sarah Alexander, Olivia Colman, Michelle Gomez, Sally Philiups and Stephen Mangan.
93 Burnistoun
More comedy and my favourite sketch show of the 21st century. made by BBC Scotland it stars Robert Florence and Iain Connell. I'm sure its funny for you Southerners but it is is roll on yer arse funny, dying for breath funny for Scottish people. Here is it's most famous sketch.

Green Wing was amazing! A shame there were only 2 series but maybe it ended at the right time. The makers tried to repeat the formula with Campus but they forgot to make any of the characters likeable.

92 Luke Cage
Another of the Marvel Netflix shows, this one is about Luke Cage, a bulletproof ex-con, who helps fight organised crime in Harlem. Very Blaxploitation style, Season 1 is way better then 2 which was a bit dull.
91 QI
Not much introduction required, think everybody is very familiar with the long running panel show. Originally presented by Stephen Fry in 2003, now Sandi Toksvig.

90 Modern Family
I used to watch this US comedy show every week but we pretty much dropped it around Season 7, just too much to watch. But that doesn't mean it isn't still funny, I catch the odd episode. If you haven't seen it, it follows 3 related families in the documentary style of the Office. A family with 3 kids, a gay couple and a grandad with a young wife and son.
89 Dead Like Me
This is a show from 2003 which has maybe been forgotten by many or never seen by millions but some like myself regard it is a hidden gem. It will take to long to explain but it is basically about a teenage girl who becomes a grim reaper. Just watch the trailer!

88 Gotham
This show recently finished its run and its basically about the city of Gotham before the Batman, centring around a young James Gordon still a cop not yet a commissioner and a young teen Bruce Wayne. The show also introduces new origin stories for characters such as Penguin, The Riddler and Catwoman. Some very different from the comics.
The show does get better and better, but the seasons are way too long, so much filler especially in the first 2 seasons but once the villains take more shape and the young actors grow into their roles it eventually becomes must see TV. The final season was fantastic. It is a huge commitment though for anyone wanting to binge it now.
87 The Umbrella Academy
From a long running DC show to one that has had just 1 season so far. This Netflix show is created by Gerard Way and it is kind of a dark twisted spin on X Men. Its another one that you just need to see the trailer. Really looking forward to Season 2 which is due in the next few weeks,

86 The Dead Zone
I'm really sorry don't remember a huge amount about this show except it was a superior version of the Stephen King story told by The Dead Zone starring Christopher Walken. But it did totally grip me at the time. It ran for a long time but sadly they never managed to finish the story with a proper finale.
From wikipedia
Small-town teacher Johnny Smith is involved in a car accident that leaves him comatose for approximately six years. After regaining consciousness, Johnny begins having visions of the past and future triggered by touching items or people; doctors attribute the visions to activity in a previously unused "dead zone" of his brain that is attempting to compensate for the impaired function of the portions injured in the accident. Johnny also learns that his fiancée, Sarah, gave birth to his son in the interim following the accident, but has since married another man.
With the help of Sarah, her husband Walt, and physical therapist Bruce, Johnny begins using his abilities to help solve crimes. However, his attempts to do good are complicated by intermittent visions of apocalyptic events brought about following the future election of congressional candidate Greg Stillson.
85 Hustle
Hot of the back of the popularity of Oceans movies, the BBC commissioned this ensemble show about con men. It was such a clever show as you could play along each week and see if you could work it out before 'the reveal'. Again so many of the cast went on to be huge stars.

84 Titans
Yes we are very DC heavy in this batch. This show is brilliant, very very dark and does not hold back the issues it deals with. Possibly the most grownup superhero show on Netflix. Basically what happens when heroes are no longer heroes but screwups and broken people. If you are not usually a fan of the superhero genre give this a shot.
83 My Name Is Earl
Another show that may have passed people by. Starring Jason Lee it was basically a buddy comedy series similar to all those Judd Apatow movies that were big at the time. I loved it at the time but not sure how it would be in 2020.
Earl is a low-life who buys a winning lottery ticket, only to get hit by a car, losing the ticket in the process. He then realises in the hospital that his bad luck is the result of karma in which fate punishes him for all the rotten things he's ever done in his life; therefore, he then decides to dedicate his life to making amends to all the people he has hurt in his life. 82 Top Gear
Yes I know its not strictly a new show but the revamped 2002 show was sometimes completely different. Three presenters all men of course, at the time, but they were all quite different a opinionated arrogant lovable oaf, a young daredevil idiot and an aging rocker type who was quite dull and serious and risk averse. Throw in cars, challenges, chat, celebrities, beautiful scenery and comedy, it was a really fun show. It did slump with Joey from Friends and Chris Evans took over but it is actually very good again with the new presenters.
81 Curb Your Enthusiasm
Possibly the most cringey show on TV, I haven't seen it for years as I don't have Sky Atlantic, Hoping Sky Comedy will rerun the series I missed, but it is one of the funniest shows ever, you just end up with your head in your hands or choking with laughter. If you know don't know anything about this show Larry David creator of Seinfeld, keeps ending up in embarrassing or awkward situations and nearly always does the wrong or says the wrong thing, he just has no filter!

80 Legends Of Tomorrow
No recent show has changed so much in 4 years, it is a superhero show which started as a time travelling spinoff comprising of 2nd level characters mostly villains from Arrow and The Flash. They then basically do Doctor Who/Quantum Leap travelling through time fixing things. This is still kind of true but most of the cast now are completing different and since Constantine joined the show, it has become a brilliant, funny, scary, surreal show. There are a lot of duds especially in Season 2 but now it is one of the best shows on TV. It almost compares to Rick & Morty with its references and metaness in the current series.
79 Riverdale
Another big CW show, this show is loosely based on the Archie comics but instead is a strange timeless town with a odd Twin Peaks type vibe. Its the world the US thinks they still live in but with just as much murder. The show just gets more and more over the top as the seasons go, teens that look nothing like teens doing things that teens would never do and its all just completely daft. But you get sucked into the world of Archie, Jughead, Betty,Veronica and a myriad of famous Brat Pack and aging teen stars as parents. It is totally a guilty pleasure.

78 The IT CrowdThe inescapable fact about IT crowd is that if you work in IT, this show is essential. It is so true, it's scary and the cast are all brilliant and every episode is hilarious. If you have never watched the C4 show, put that right as it deserves to be a classic. Not much more to say really. 77 The Blacklist
I will start by saying this is a show that we have dropped, it has so many episodes and has gone on so long, they should have ended it 2 years ago! But I will still strongly recommend this show, James Spader is a tour de force and without him this show woudl just be another procedural, his acting, his character, the relationship between him and Keen is just magnetic. It has a great supporting cast and for such a long show, not many duds. It just goes on too long, all the questions should have been answered long ago, we have lost the will, i'm sorry Reddington but we just don't care about your secrets anymore Oh I forgot to tell you what its about, let Reddington tell you...

76 Futurama
Must admit I don't watch this anymore either but it was so needed. Basically The Simpsons do Buck Rogers but it has more laughts in season 1 than 10 years of Simpsons. Can't find much to else to say, so many brilliant characters and classic moments.
75 iZombie
Yes it's another CW show and you would think I have an obsession with dead girls coming back to life. Its a zombie show but not really like any other well not till later seasons anyway. It has a comedy drama feel and basically Liv becomes a zombie but she manages to control it and hide it from her friends and family. She works in a morgue and uses the brains she eats to solve crimes. Yes it sounds silly and it is a bit. It is very gory but also very funny.

74 13 Reasons Why
If this was just season 1 , it would be in my top 30 but later seasons have lessened the impact of this show. Season 1 of 13 Reasons Why, is this most harrowing and upsetting show I have watched in the last 10 years. I will tell you know my mental health was buggered for weeks after it. I knew how it would end but it didn't stop me being sucked into Hannah's story and being really messed up at the end. Season 2 is still really good but nothing is the same without Hannah. I am still watching it but only because I really like some of the other characters but Hannah was my number one, don't believe everything you hear!
Oh again I forget to tell you what its about, i'm sure most of you know but a teenage girl, records on 13 tapes the reasons why she commited suicide and unveils them to her friends and classmates and teachers. Should this change your view about suicide, does it glamourise it, is it just nonsense, you decide.
73 Schitts Creek
This is quite high probably as we are watching at it right now, we are in Season 2. Its another US comedy show about rich people down on their luck. This time they end up living in a hicksville town and the awkwardness these privileged people have living in this alien environment. It is actually way better than I describe it.
