Rock music always was in a shadow of overpowering pop domination in my chart, but some big hits in a history of my retrospective charts can be described as "rock", especially in comparison with my adorable Lithuanian girl groups.
Doll - Desire Me (1979) (UK # 28)
Probably it's the oldest rock hit in my chart, "Desire Me" spent 2 weeks at # 1 in January between Brotherhood of Man - Goodbye, Goodbye and Blondie - Heart of Glass.

LaFee - Prinzesschen (2006) (Austria # 10, Germany # 11)
With 5 weeks on the top "Prinzesschen" still the most successful rock song in a history of my chart. German singer LaFee was only 15 years old, not 100 % sure, but it seems like she is the youngest singer, who had # 1 in my chart. The oldest is Cheryl Baker, when Bucks Fizz did very unpredictable comeback on pop scene and got some additional # 1 hits.

"Desire Me" by Doll was a clear rip-off of "Denis" by Blondie, but because Blondie didn't actually write Denis and also possibly because they weren't bothered, Doll got away with it.

Lash - Beauty Queen (2001) (Australia # 31)
In 2001 Australian chart was translated on MTV Russia, but I forgot that "Beauty Queen" was peaked in the end of chart, not in top 10. Lash had # 1 debut, but after it became a victim of allSTARS* superhit "Things That Go Bump In The Night". allSTARS* were unstoppable, sadly the poor sales of debut album became the end of group, they had a huge potential for breaking some major records of my chart.

Garbage - You Look So Fine (1999) (UK # 19)
"You Look So Fine" is my favourite Garbage song, peaked at # 3 in my favourite year in a music history.

First Courtney's solo single "Mono" became a big hit and spent 3 weeks at # 1 in my chart.

Hole - Celebrity Skin (UK # 19)
"Celebrity Skin" spent two weeks at # 1 in 1998 year and it's the best song from my favourite rock group.

Pretty Reckless - Miss Nothing (2010) (UK # 39)
The second single of American group Pretty Reckless was more successful than their debut "Make Me Wanna Die". Taylor Momsen and her band got 7th place in yearly "My favourite singles from UK chart" list with this song.

Nightwish - Wish I Had An Angel (2004) (UK # 60) (Finland # 1)
Russians had very interesting choices of favourite bands in MTV glory days. Firstly dance project Scooter was the most popular group in my country, even bigger than in their home country Germany. Their cover version of Kiss - I Was Made For Loving You spent the more (somewhere near 40 !!!) weeks in Top 20 MTV Russia chart than any other song. After it Rammstein and Nightwish replaced Scooter in a role of favourite Russian groups.
"Wish I Had An Angel" was only one top 10 hit for Nightwish in my chart.

Doro - White Wedding (2001)
Ex-front-woman of 80s German heavy metal band Warlock and sex symbol of rock music scene (at least in Germany and Russia) Doro Pesch had some hits in my charts, "White Wedding" was the most successful from them all.

Runaways - School Days (1978) (Belgium # 29)
This American group didn't have any chart hits, all 4 albums were flopped. So I knew about them only some weeks ago. Obviously "School Days" have a good potential for top 10 hit, if I will compile full charts for 70s.

Cindy and Bert - Der Hund Von Baskerville (1971)
This song sounds very unpredictably for German schlager duo Cindy and Bert, especially if you are familiar with their discography. I love Cindy's vocals on this track, she could be a minor rock star.
Is it really a cover version of Black Sabbath song ?

There are three rock entries in last "Gražios Dainos" chart by Lita Ford, Heart and the most interesting from low-known Norwegian band.
Tindrum - Drums Of War (1988) (# 1 in Norway)
