Caroline Quentin was better than I hoped. I'm mainly watching for her and Bill Bailey. (and Aljaz )

I'm actually going to watch this year, since what else is there to do?
Really liked Caroline too, but think she's going to grate on people with her interviews etc. HRVY is so much better than I'd have thought as well. Can't stand that girl from Eastenders.

I'm sure he'll pick up enough votes to last a few weeks at least

I'd think the first bottom two could be Jacqui vs Jason.

Jacqui might be saved by the Anton vote
Jamie Laing could be first out

Was thinking the same about Jacque. Also wasn’t sure if Jamie would benefit from his brief appearance last year, and generally thought he came across better than Max did personality-wise. We shall see!

Definitely Jamie for me. I can’t see Max lasting much longer - he was as boring as wet cardboard in the Wanted - he doesn’t exactly expel charisma on the Dancefloor either.

Even though it was the right result and she was never gonna beat anyone in the dance off,I did feel sorry for her.

I think it's easier for couples like Jacqui/Anton to survive the first few eliminations when there are more couples competing. With only 12 this year, they were far more vulnerable going into it.

I didn't like Jasons routine or music. I think he deserved something a bit stronger to show what he could really do.

He was only there to make up the numbers so won't miss him too much.

I'll miss his giant smile that had an off switch whenever his child was mentioned 'cause he misses her so much.

Nicola and Katya out! Nicola Adam and Katya Jones leave Strictly after Covid diagnosis www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-54919497Former boxer Nicola Adams and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones have left the BBC contest after Jones tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement said the programme's "protocols" meant the pair would now isolate and would not be able to take part in the rest of the series.
They made history as the first same-sex couple to take part in the UK show.
"I'm absolutely devastated my Strictly journey has come to an end so soon," the Olympic gold medallist said.
"I had so much more to give and so many people to win this for! But I just want to say a huge thank you to Katya for being the best dance partner anyone could ask for.
"I'm gutted to be out of the competition but in these unprecedented times and as frustrating as it is, the Covid measures in place are to keep everyone safe, and I'm doing what I can to help."

Time will tell how effective the bubbling has been then...

So if they're in a bubble, how have they caught it?

You can catch it anywhere, a shop? A restaurant? A taxi? They haven’t been isolating.

Oh silly me, that's what I thought they were doing, we are in a lockdown after all...

Since Friday... If she’s tested positive now she could have caught it as far back as two weeks ago.
