I don't know many people who would rather see Robson & Jerome at #1 than the Prodigy! I would rather see Robson & Jerome at #1 than the Prodigy!

A campaign to put 'Friday I'm In Love' at #1 I can get behind.
I do disagree with most of your other choices so far!

I like "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted", Jimmy Ruffin did it originally, there was also a cover by Dave Stewart and Colin Blunstone in 1981.
Robson & Jerome was just a karaoke version, and whilst they did sing a few notes, they brought in session musicians to sing much of it.
I wasn't actually that keen on Breathe - sounded like Firestarter mark 2, and of the Prodigy I preferred "Out Of Space" and "No Good" more than those tracks.
There were lots of great britpop songs at the time. "If You're Thinking Of Me" by Dodgy, which entered the week before the Prodigy, was my #1 at the time.

194. Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You (5 December 1992) (10 weeks)
I think that everybody have the most hated big worldwide pop hit, for me it’s “I Will Always Love You”. Possibly I'm only the one person here, who don't like Whitney's vocals.
Top 10 songs, which I would like to see at # 1 instead it : 5 December : Michael Jackson - Heal The World (New # 1, only # 2 in UK) 12 December : Michael Jackson - Heal The World (2nd week) 19 December : Michael Jackson - Heal The World (3rd week) 26 December : Michael Jackson - Heal The World (4th week) 2 January : Michael Jackson - Heal The World (5th week) 9 January : Take That - Could It Be Magic (New # 1, only # 3 in UK) 16 January : Take That - Could It Be Magic (2nd week) 23 January : The Beloved - Sweet Harmony (New # 1, only # 8 in UK) 30 January : The Beloved - Sweet Harmony (2nd week) 6 February : Duran Duran - Ordinary World (New # 1, only # 6 in UK)

IWALY is overplayed but it's incredibly powerful IMO and definitely deserved to be #1.

At the time I would have said 'Lay all your love on me', but now it seems to be 'Take a chance on me' which was also the one featured on their GH. If my memory serves correctly it was treated as a proper EP with all tracks receiving airplay. Lay All Your Love On Me received the mist radio play with SOS also making the airplay charts but Take A Chance.. seemed to get the more video plays (presumably because they dressed as Abba) They performed Take A Chance... on Top Of The Pops on its first week but subsequent weeks they showed a different video of the 4 available. Take A Chance On Me was nearly always what was played on The Chart Show on ITV. I remember the top 40 on Radio 1 would play Lay All Your Love On Me and Voulez Vous quite a bit but I don't remember hearing SOS much at all.

'Sleeping Satellite' is stunning, although I loved her follow-up single 'In Your Care' even more!

I reckon Cher or Blondie are going to be very high up. At least 8 tracks from my top 10 are predictable, the hardest is 5th place. Best male singer / group will finish somewhere near 20th place.

Nah, not having Chemical Brothers that low, though I did really like those Cast and Catatonia songs.
Never been a big fan of "All Together Now", especially as Absolute Radio (which I usually have on in the car) play it just about every day.

If All That She Wants is next, but no mention of Do The Bartman, I will tut very loudly.
Tamsin Archer is lovely, it’s a brilliant song, I still listen to it now.
