62. The Great British Bake Off (2010-)
No. of Episodes: 95
The Great British Bake Off (often abbreviated to Bake Off or GBBO) is a British television baking competition in which a group of amateur bakers compete against each other in a series of rounds, attempting to impress a group of judges with their baking skills, with a contestant being eliminated in each round, and the winner being selected from the contestants who reach the finals. The first episode was aired on 17 August 2010, with its first four series broadcast on BBC Two, until its growing popularity led the BBC to move it to BBC One for the next three series. After its seventh series, Love Productions signed a three-year deal with Channel 4 to produce the series for the broadcaster. Great show but I have gradually lost interest after it moved to C4

60. Revolution (2012-2014)
No. of Episodes: 42
Revolution is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction television series. The show takes place in the post-apocalyptic near-future of the year 2027, 15 years after the start of a worldwide, permanent electrical-power blackout in 2012. Created by Eric Kripke and produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions for the NBC network, doing well enough that NBC ordered a second season shortly after the first-season finale. Another one cancelled halfway through, the TV series was never renewed for a third series, but a four-part comic book series appeared in May and June 2015, and wrapped up the story.

59. Jack Whitehall Travels With My Father (2017)
No. of Episodes: 15
Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father is a travel documentary/road trip comedy television series that debuted on Netflix. The show is presented by comedian Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael Whitehall. The show covers the pair's travels to various places around the world, encountering silly and awkward situations. The first series was released on Netflix on 22 September 2017, and covers the pair's travel to South East Asia on a popular "gap year route", and involves them traveling through countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. The series was renewed for a second series which was filmed in Eastern Europe. The third season was filmed in the American west and the fourth season was filmed in Australia and premiered on 22 September 2020. This one is just a bit of fun to watch, the perfect mix of comedy and travel show, it is a genre I enjoy and has featured heavily so far with with The Trip and Karl Pilkington, we have 2 or 3 more similar shows to come and "Travel Man: 48 Hours in" with Richard Ayoade just misses out

Agree with you about Bake Off - it used to be a must-watch for me but its best days are behind it, sadly.
Talked about Revolution already in The Thorne's thread but it was a really enjoyable show and would have loved to have seen more of it. Perhaps I should check out the comics...

58. Lost in Space (2018-)
No. of Episodes: 20
Lost in Space is an American science fiction television series and is a reimagining of the 1965 series of the same name (itself a reimagining of the 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson), following the adventures of a family of space colonists whose spaceship veers off course. In the aftermath of an impact event that threatens the survival of humanity, the Robinson family is selected for the 24th mission of the Resolute (24th Colonist Group), an interstellar spacecraft carrying selected families to colonize the Alpha Centauri star system. Before they reach their destination, an alien robot breaches the Resolute's hull. Forced to evacuate the mothership in short-range Jupiter spacecraft, scores of colonists, among them the Robinsons, crash on a nearby habitable planet. There they must contend with a strange environment and battle their own personal demons as they search for a way back to the Resolute. This one could've been a disaster with the original show being so iconic but they have done it justice. the third and final series due in 2021

Watched an episode of the new Jack Whitehall series last night, and it was just way too staged. But his Dad does crack me up as a character.
Love Lost In Space too, also think they've done it justice perhaps against the odds.

56. Fresh Meat (2011-2016)
No. of Episodes: 30
Fresh Meat marked the acting debut of comedian Jack Whitehall and also stars Kimberley Nixon of Cranford, Joe Thomas of The Inbetweeners and Zawe Ashton who has been in Doctor Who, Misfits etc. The plot revolves around the lives of six students — Vod, Oregon, Josie, Kingsley, JP and Howard — who are freshers (with the exception of Howard) at the fictional Manchester Medlock University. They live in a shared house off-campus in Rusholme rather than university halls of residence, due to their late application. Main themes include Oregon's insecurity and failed relationship with her English literature lecturer, Tony Shales; Vod's hedonistic, carefree lifestyle; Josie and Kingsley's tortured relationship; upper-class JP's attempts at popularity and impressing girls; and Howard's many eccentricities. On a larger scale, the series covers many student-related issues, including financial issues, work pressures and grades, expulsion, partying, and internship competition. In the final series, a major theme is job seeking, final exam pressure and the value of degrees. I loved this one too, very well cast, interesting and funny, there was talks to make this into a film but nothing materialised

55. Catfish (2012-)
No. of Episodes: 154
Catfish: The TV Show is an American reality-based documentary television series airing on MTV about the truths and lies of online dating. The series is based on the 2010 film Catfish and premiered on November 12, 2012. It is currently co-hosted by Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford. Max Joseph served as a co-host for the first seven seasons of the show. On the internet, a "catfish" is someone who creates fake personal profiles on social sites using someone else's pictures and false biographical information to pretend to be someone else. These "catfish" usually intend to trick an unsuspecting person or more into falling in love with them. MTV and the Catfish film's producers, Schulman and Joseph, help people who are emotionally entangled with someone they have never met in real life. Each episode is an investigation into whether or not the other participant in the virtual relationship is legitimate or if he or she is, in fact, a "catfish". More trash tv but I cant stop watching it!!! the first 7 series were great with Max and Nev, they had great chemistry and solved loads of mysteries, some of the people they helped even had a happy ending when they brought two people together but after Max left he show focussed more on the most extreme shock value "catfish" and instead of boy meets girl scenario, but girl too shy to use her real photo it became more black pre opp transgender person tricks cousin into falling in love with fake profile because they argued about cake 5 year ago episodes and I lost interest but the film and he first half dozen series are excellent

54. The Umbrella Academy (2019-)
No. of Episodes: 20
The Umbrella Academy is an American superhero web television series based on the comic book series of the same name written by Gerard Way. It revolves around a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes who reunite to solve the mystery of their father's death and the threat of an impending apocalypse. The Umbrella Academy is set in a universe where 43 women around the world give birth simultaneously on October 1, 1989, despite none of them showing any sign of pregnancy until labor began. Seven of the children are adopted by eccentric billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves and turned into a superhero team that he calls "The Umbrella Academy." Hargreeves gives the children numbers rather than names, but they eventually are named by their robot-mother, Grace, as Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five (his only name), Ben, and Vanya. While putting six of his children to work fighting crime, Reginald keeps Vanya apart from her siblings' activities, as she supposedly demonstrates no powers of her own. The first series was great and I loved the second series too, its a new show so i don't want to give too much away

53. After Life (2019-)No. of Episodes: 12
After Life is a British black comedy-drama web television series created, written, produced and directed by Ricky Gervais, who is also the star. It premiered on 8 March 2019 on Netflix. The second series premiered on 24 April 2020. On 6 May 2020, Netflix and Ricky Gervais reached a new multi-project deal which included the renewal of After Life for a third series After Life follows Tony, whose life is turned upside down after his wife dies from breast cancer. He contemplates suicide, but instead decides to live long enough to punish the world for his wife's death by saying and doing whatever he wants. Although he thinks of this as his "superpower", his plan is undermined when everyone around him tries to make him a better person. It is a bit grim at times but uplifting too, by far the best tv series Ricky Gervais has done since The Office, I did enjoy Extras and Derek too but this just hits you deeper

52. Being Human (2008-2013)
No. of Episodes: 37
Being Human is a British supernatural comedy-drama television series The show blends elements of flatshare comedy and horror drama. The pilot episode starred Andrea Riseborough as Annie Sawyer (a ghost), Russell Tovey as George Sands (a werewolf), and Guy Flanagan as John Mitchell (a vampire) – all of whom are sharing accommodation and attempting as well as they can to live a "normal" life and blend in with the ordinary humans around them, striving to fit in more. The original cast were fantastic, they did re-cast a few times and carry on longer than they maybe should but them first few series were brilliant

51. SAS: Who Dares Wins (2015-)
No. of Episodes: 37
SAS: Who Dares Wins is a reality quasi-military training television programme produced by Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. The Chief-instructor of the TV-show is Ant Middleton who is an ex-United Kingdom Special Forces soldier. The TV show pits contestants against harsh environments all around the world in a two-week long training course that is designed to replicate Special Air Service selection; a notoriously difficult programme that has been known to claim the lives of those who take it on. The show's directing staff take the recruits through hostile and unforgiving warfare environments, while testing their mental and physical ability through a series of tests. There has been 5 series and a few celebrity spin off series, I missed the first 3 series because I didn't think it would be something i liked so I went back and watched them all and really enjoyed them, i mean its pretty real for reality tv, they get punched in the face, submerged in ice cold water and have to jump off cliffs ha

Wasn't it Aidan Turner as the vampire in the first series of Being Human - or was he a later recast?
I really enjoyed the first two seasons of that but I gave up after that. Promising show though.

50. Phoenix Nights (2001-2002)
No. of Episodes: 12
Phoenix Nights is a British sitcom about The Phoenix Club, a working men's club in the northern English town of Bolton, Greater Manchester. The show is a spin-off from the "In the Club" episode of the spoof documentary series That Peter Kay Thing, and in turn was followed by the spin-off Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. The show was written by Neil Fitzmaurice, Peter Kay and Dave Spikey. All three writers star in the show, with Kay also directing in the second series. All the music was written by Toni Baker and Peter Kay. Additional material was provided by Paddy McGuinness. This was great, it was the first I'd heard of Peter Kay, shame it only ran for 12 episodes, living up North we have all been to a "Phoenix Club" my town has 3 working men's clubs and it wouldnt surprise me if most of the episodes were written from experience ha
