Oh, forgot to say how much I agonised between The 1975 and Janelle for my top marks - I played them one after the other, then the other way round, then had a break and did it again, then sang them both to myself... and still couldn't decide! In the end, I thought Janelle might need the points more. But I actually sent this to Shireblogger when I voted after my actual votes:
"Except it should really be:
30 points - Janelle Monae - Make Me Feel 30 points - 1975 - It's Not Living (If It's Not With You) 30 points - Years & Years - If You're Over Me 30 points - Jess Glynne - I'll Be There 30 points - Ghost - Rats 30 points - George Ezra - Paradise 30 points - Ariana Grande - No Tears Left To Cry
And then 25 for Muse, 20 for Passenger, etc."
A bunch of truly stunning songs in this round, well done everyone.

Janelle Monae would have got my top marks without that PHENOMENALLY annoying clicking that went out throughout it. Made it a novelty song.
The Years & Years one might be the worst song in this entire competition. Hideous.
Interesting to see how much countryfied sounds there are here (have I made that point before?). I'm not normally a fan of the music, although there are many very talented people involved, but the Heaton/Abbott combo hit the spot, typically smart lyrics.
