What about Sweetheart - Mariah Carey? Does it count? The Sweet escape by Gwen Stefani and Akon? Or Sweetest sin by Jessica Simpson? Sweetheart and sweetest are different words, so they're banned. But The Sweet Escape is permitted, because I ignore "The" and "A" at the start.

Apart from Sweet Child O' Mine and Sweet Home Alabama, a couple of others choices...
My 2 choices. Classic from Neil Diamond and the best but so far unmentioned Sweet Dreams

Well my first choice wouldn't be allowed
Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness
so otherwise it would be this
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine

I came on here to say 'Sweet child o mine' and 'Sweet Caroline' but was beaten to it.
Glad nobody has said 'Sweet Like Chocolate' yet though!

I thought Sweet Child O'Mine had already been listed but I see it hadn't.

I love this thread! Lots of my favourites have already been on here, I feel like Sweet Little Mystery by Wet Wet Wet deserves a mention.
It wise, I don’t think I’ve seen...
It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over by Lenny Kravitz It Ain’t What You Do It’s The Way That You Do It by Bananarama & Funboy Three (extra points for ending with ‘It’ too?) It Doesn’t Matter by Wyclef Jean featuring The Rock & Melky Sedek It Was A Good Day by Ice Cube
All of those are excellent!

Surprised to see that zero songs on my ipod begin with 'It' , but a dozen begin with 'Sweet' . My top two would be : Sweet Lies - Ellie Campbell Sweet Freedom (cover of Michael Macdonald) - Former Ladies of Supremes

28. HOW :: 105 songs
Of the five question words, three make it into the Top 30, Where just missed (37th, 90 songs) and Why didn't make the Top 50.
Despite having 105 songs to choose from, there are far fewer How songs that I really like than there were Sweet songs.
Contenders:-
How Can I Love You More ? - M People How Can This Be Love - Andrew Gold How Can You Mend A Broken Heart ? - Bee Gees (& Al Green) How High - Charlatans How Men Are - Aztec Camera How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) - Marvin Gaye How Will I Know - Whitney Houston
Which leaves three. After much deliberation, I have placed this one in third place:-
How Soon Is Now - Smiths
And that means my two Hows are:-
How Bizarre - OMC How Deep Is Your Love - Bee Gees

How Soon Is Now is way ahead of all the others in my chart, How Deep Is Your Love was also an NM #1 (for the Bee Gees, not Take That). The 0only other NM #1 I could find is "How Do You Do It" by Gerry & The Pacemakers.
Two male-female duos from Europe had hits called How Do You Do, one in 1972 and the other in 1992. Let me post them both.

How Soon Is Now is definitely high up on my list of Hows.
So would be:
Loick Essien - How We Roll Calvin Harris & Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love Roxette - How Do You Do?

How Soon Is Now? is way out ahead I reckon, amazing track. A few others worth mentioning... How Was It For You? by James How To Save A Life by The Fray How Will I Know? by The Lemonheads (already mentioned by Whitney Houston buit this is unquestionably the definitive version ) How You Remind Me by Nickelback (they get a lot of stick but I don't care, that's an excellent song) I'm going to post a less well known one that I absolutely love though, The Strawbs featuring Sandy Denny with How Everyone But Sam Was A Hypocrite

From Journalism training I can vaguely remember who, what, when, where, why and how, that's six. Arguably there's which and were too, maybe more I haven't thought of. Have? Do? I'm confused...

A lovely amateur video from one Gabriella Elizabeth to a typically lovely and mysterious Cocteau track.
