Apologies for this not actually going up over the weekend, I was unexpectedly out of the house both days. I also don't have a header image made because Photoshop hates me, so just imagine a nice one here.
COVER IDOL Cover Idol will consist of 12 rounds with various criteria to meet, but with no other restrictions when it comes to chart positions. Much like Time Machine, big hits and personal favourites are all equally welcomed.COVERVISION Covervision follows the likes of Lingovision, Xmasvision etc. in that you enter just one cover which was not a hit in the UK, of a song that was. This part of the contest will return annually much like other Vision contests, and take place once Cover Idol has finished.
Cover Idol and Covervision are two separate beasts and will therefore (probably) have two different winners. Feel free to enter only one of the contests if you wish, let me know when signing up if you're joining both or just one. Sign up will be open for a week, then details of the Cover Idol rounds will be posted and you can begin sending songs. Also, one of the rounds will be (sort of) up to you! You can choose between a Worst Cover round and something else in the poll above which closes at the weekend.
