And the only countries that have staged a World Championship race every year: Britain and Italy.
(Point of order: the 1952 and 1953 world titles were run to Formula 2 regulations, so the 1954 Argentine and 1955 Dutch Grands Prix were those nations' first F1 World Championship race. This is the sort of distinction that marks out the sort of person who points out there is a hyphen in Rolls-Royce)

F2 regulations but still part of the F1 World Championship (officially) so the list remains valid. It wasn't called the F1 World Championship. This becomes of importance in 1981...
The Constructors' Championship started in 1958. The winners, by year of first title, are:
1958: Vanwall
1959: Cooper
1961: Ferrari
1962: BRM (who also won the SPOTY Team of the Year award - the last time it went to a motor racing team)
1963: Lotus
1966: Brabham
1969: Matra (run by Ken Tyrrell)
1971: Tyrrell
1974: McLaren
1980: Williams
1995: Benetton (née Toleman)
2009: Brawn (née BAR)
2010: Red Bull (née Stewart)
The Renault and Mercedes championship teams (2005 and 2014) were renamed versions of Benetton and Brawn.
Had there been titles before 1958, the winners would have been:
1950: Alfa Romeo
1952: Ferrari
1954: Mercedes-Benz
1957: Maserati

Actually, could sneak in another list, to show how things are changing in this current franchise era.
Identities of the F1 team based at Silverstone started by Eddie Jordan:
1991: Jordan Grand Prix
2006: Midland F1 Racing
2007: Spyker F1
2008: Force India Formula One Team
2018: Racing Point Force India F1 Team
2019: Racing Point F1 Team
2021: Aston Martin F1 Team

Yeah, it's where you draw the line. BAR bought the company to get its entry in F1. Everything else was a start-up.

NON-LEAGUE CLUBS REACHING THE LAST 32 OF THE FA CUP Shows how strong the Southern League was until its wholesale incorporation into the League after World War 1. Which is only natural. The south was slow to adopt professionalism and the League would not accept amateurs. So the League started off with a strong northern and Midlands bias. When southern teams went pro, they were naturally pretty strong, with a big talent pool from which to choose. And when the maximum wage came in in 1900 there was no incentive to go north.
