Possible return of Fave Dance Chart?

I'm considering a return of it this month but i need your opinion to see whether it is worth a comeback.

Any suggestions to the previous format that u wanna see.

The previous chart became meaningless because some only posted on a random basis which meant that records bobbed about everywhere.

People may have missed some weeks, not everyone can commit to meet the deadline every week - don't see that as an issue and it definitely doesn't render the chart 'meaningless'.

Would welcome a return of FDC and make every effort to participate regularly. Maybe just a top 20 to compensate for the lower chart numbers than the Haven charts in the PC section?

I'm thinking this time around of including even songs that are not in the list of proposals although the criteria remain dance songs of 2021 and/or released in December 2020 but being a hit this year. In this way, you might send a top10/top20 of dance songs which are in your personal charts.

Some songs might take time to grow on us, so songs will not be removed only after a week of no votes for them, maybe after a month.

The restricted 20 weeks charting song shall still apply.

Perhaps only posting every 2 weeks instead of every week may encourage more people to participate?

Fortnightly is a good idea - but I think it needs an additional feature in the forum to get some more people in - maybe a featured dance chart, or retro dance hit of the week?

I am hoping to be back more for 2021 as 2020 was a nightmare with my mental health and lost all love and interest in music.

Happy to go with whatever format although thinking fortnightly may be an idea?

I'd try and do a chart and have a little more time to listen to new music as working from home and need to block next door's drumming out with music on my headphones. My previous problem with only posting a chart intermittently was I only really knew the dance music that charted here in the UK.

I am the same in terms of UK Music and felt I really needed to listen to a bit of the list first. No disrespect with the USADance as I am totally lost with their music as I presume it is from across the water.
Maybe with more time on my hands, I will be able to get to know a more wide range of tracks from all over.
