I might as well keep rolling with these seeing as we're back in lockdown and I'm off work until further notice...
So after the strange year that was 1992, 1993 carried on in a similar vein though we did start to see some more clear patterns.
Reggae was the big musical trend of the year, with several huge hits based on the genre and at one point, we had a top 3 comprised entirely of reggae tracks. Dance music continued to be popular though European acts were now established as the dominant force, which didn't always mean the hits were of particularly high quality. It wasn't until American DJs and producers started having hits during the mid 90s that we'd start to regularly see some genuinely good dance hits.
We saw the seeds planted for the Britpop explosion that would happen in 1994, with the release of Blur's album "Modern Life Is Rubbish" though they omitted the track "Popscene", which has since become a firm favourite with fans of the band. We also saw Suede breakthrough as a top 10 band, paving the way for many more to do so over the following years.
Again, there weren't a lot of songs topping the chart, with no song spending fewer than two weeks at the top until Mr. Blobby and Take That had their epic squabble for the Christmas no.1 in December. And despite all the new acts and new trends, the longest running no.1 of the year came from an ageing rock star who had his first hit in 1978...
A reminder of the points system: 1 point for no.40 in the singles chart, 2 points for no.39, all the way up to 37 points for no.4, then it's 40 points for no.3, 45 points for no.2 and 50 points for no.1.
Before the countdown, here are some of the songs that didn't make the top 40:
(position in end-of-year sales chart in brackets)
48(46) PET SHOP BOYS - Go West (228 points)
This Village People cover, with its cutting edge video, looked nailed on to give the duo their first no.1 in over five years but fell agonisingly short, spending two weeks at no.2 behind two different tracks. The track featured the Brythoniaid Male Voice Choir, who also performed the song alongside the Pet Shop Boys at the 1994 Brits.
50(67) ETERNAL - Stay (219 points)
This refreshing R&B pop track was the debut hit for the London quartet comprised of sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, Kelle Bryan and Louise Nurding. It was the first of 12 top 10 hits they would have between 1993 and 1997. Louise left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career with a fair degree of success, racking up nine top 10 hits of her own.
54(54) APACHE INDIAN - Boom Shack-A-Lack (215 points)
Part of his "Nuff Vibes" EP, this was a top 5 hit for Steven Kapur, who was effectively the UK's answer to Shaggy (though he had his first hit before Shaggy), producing a unique mix of reggae and Indian sounds to form what he called 'Bhangramuffin'. This turned out to be his peak as he never reached the top 20 again though the song's contined use on Lynx ads has at least kept the royalties coming in.
62(65) DURAN DURAN - Ordinary World (190 points)
An absolute masterpiece of a track that was by far the highlight of the band's career. It deserved much better than its peak of no.6 but just came at the wrong time. I have no doubt that this would've been a no.1 hit in 1992 and possibly even 1994 (especially if it had ended up on the soundtrack of some stupid rom-com) but in 1993, the public's tastes leaned more towards the throwaway. Unsurprisingly, it performed better in the US, reaching no.3.
63(70) THE BELOVED - Sweet Harmony (189 points)
Tess Daly in the nip! This was the group's only top 10 hit but the song's message seems as relevant as ever today.
64(56) SOUL ASYLUM - Runaway Train (187 points)
Another memorable video but for very different reasons. This one featured images of missing teenagers, some of whom were found alive after being featured in the video. Different versions of the video were made for different countries, including the UK, and three separate versions were made for the US. The song charted twice during 1993, initially peaking at no.37 but reaching no.7 when re-released in November. It reached no.5 in the US.
68(69) GREEN JELLY - Three Little Pigs (178 points)
A surprise no.5 hit for the self-proclaimed "World's Worst Band", no doubt helped by its video.
105(88) NEW ORDER - Regret (118 points)
The band's first new music since 1990 World Cup song "World In Motion" reached no.4 and saw them showcase a new guitar-based sound.
109(-) SUEDE - Animal Nitrate (115 points)
Britpop's assault on the charts was coming. This was the first major warning shot...
112(-) RADIOHEAD - Creep (111 points)
The band's first top 10 hit that could've paved the way to them being thrown in among the 'Britpop' crowd if they'd continued to produce more of the same. They did anything but...
119(-) DAVID BOWIE - Jump They Say (87 points)
After emerging from what he later described as his "Phil Collins years", Bowie released his first solo album in six years, "Black Tie White Noise", with this the lead single. The album had mixed reviews but has since been seen in a more positive light. It would be almost 20 years before Bowie had another top 10 hit.

Ordinary World and Come Undone are the best Duran Duran singles.

Part 1 (40-36):
40(58) MARIAH CAREY - Hero (250 points) Top 40 run: 8-7-11-9-15-18-18-18-15
A no.7 hit in November, this track's reputation exceeds its UK chart performance, though it was a no.1 in the US. It remained in the top 20 in the UK until the end of the year.
39(48) CHAKA DEMUS & PLIERS - She Don't Let Nobody (251 points) Top 40 run: 18-6-4-4-4-6-13-22
This Curtis Mayfield cover was the follow-up to a much bigger hit for the Jamaican duo that we'll see later.
38(32) GOODMEN - Give It Up (256 points) Top 40 run: 29-23-25-36 / 27-9-5-6-10-11-22-34
A rather basic but effective dance hit based around a tribal-sounding drum sample. The track was later sampled by Simply Red for their no.1 hit "Fairground". The Goodmen were a dutch duo who later had another UK top 10 hit under the name Chocolate Puma.
37(29) ELTON JOHN & KIKI DEE - True Love (262 points) Top 40 run: 8-2-2-3-6-9-9
17 years after topping the chart with "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", Elton John and Kiki Dee reunited to perform this Cole Porter song, taken from Elton's "Duets" album. It reached no.2 shortly before Christmas, remaining in the top 10 at the end of the year. To date, it remains Kiki Dee's last singles chart appearance.
36(53) REM - Everybody Hurts (263 points) Top 40 run: 27-15-9-9-7-7-10-14-20-30-40
A welcome appearance for REM's heart-breaking but hopeful classic, which spent five weeks inside the top 10 in the spring. An impressive feat considering it was the fourth single from "Automatic For The People", which had already topped the album chart six months earlier. The success of this single saw the album return to no.1.

Part 2 (35-31):
35(47) LENNY KRAVITZ - Are You Gonna Go My Way? (268 points) Top 40 run: 11-5-4-4-6-6-15-20-30
A stomping rock hit that spent two weeks at no.4 in March. It was the biggest hit of Kravitz's career at the time until he reached no.1 in 1999 with advert hit "Fly Away". This track was a worldwide hit though it didn't chart in the US despite significant airplay as it wasn't released as a physical single.
34(41) SUB SUB ft MELANIE WILLIAMS - Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use) (268 points) Top 40 run: 10-4-3-4-7-9-13-19-34
(FLASHING IMAGES)
A no.3 hit for the Manchester-based dance act that saw them team up with Melanie Williams. They struggled to replicate that success but were in the process of recording their second album in 1996 when a fire burned down their studio, destroying all their work in the process. Faced with the choice of quitting or carrying on, the trio decided to keep going but opted to move in a more indie direction (signs of which apparently existed on the second Sub Sub album) and changed their name to Doves, enjoying a stellar career which saw them have two no.1 albums and a no.2 before they went on hiatus in 2010. The band reformed in 2018 and released their fifth album under the Doves name in 2020, topping the charts for a third time.
33(39) EAST 17 - Deep (271 points) Top 40 run: 12-5-5-6-7-10-11-17-25
After a couple of uptempo dance-based hits, this was Tony Mortimer's first stab at something resembling a ballad. It became their biggest hit so far, establishing them as the main rival to Take That in the boy band stakes.
32(36) M PEOPLE - Moving On Up (271 points) Top 40 run: 4-2-3-5-5-11-15-23-38
One of eight top 10 hits the group would have in just over two and a half years. This was taken from their Mercury Prize-winning album "Elegant Slumming" which won the award in 1994 ahead of the likes of Blur, Prodigy, Pulp and Paul Weller.
31(42) M PEOPLE - One Night In Heaven (272 points) Top 40 run: 9-7-7-6-6-9-13-19-24-38
And from the same album came this track, which despite only reaching no.6, scores one point more than no.2 hit "Moving On Up". M People would go on to have a total of 10 top 10 hits before singer Heather Small pursued a solo career. The group have since reformed and continue to perform live, though they haven't released a new album since 1997.

Part 3 (30-26):
30(35) SHABBA RANKS - Mr. Loverman (284 points) Top 40 run: 12-3-3-4-4-7-12-14-30
A big hit despite Shabba! appearing on Channel 4's The Word the previous year and appearing to advocate the crucifixion of homosexuals. Nice job, British public!
29(34) SWV - Right Here (295 points) Top 40 run: 7-5-3-5-5-8-12-16-21-35
SWV stood for 'Sisters With Voices' and this was their third UK top 40 hit but the first to reach the top 10. It was built around a sample of Michael Jackson's "Human Nature". The group didn't reach the UK top 10 again but did manage three more top 20 hits between 1994 and 1997.
28(38) SNAP! ft NIKI HARRIS - Exterminate! (295 points) Top 40 run: 7-2-2-2-4-7-13-19-36
A big dance hit right at the start of the year, spending three weeks at no.2 in January. It continued their slightly more sophisticated sound and features US singer Niki Harris on lead vocals, rather than "Rhythm Is A Dancer" singer Thea Austin. As an added bonus, Turbo B was nowhere to be found.
27(40) SYBIL - When I'm Good And Ready (301 points) Top 40 run: 22-6-8-5-5-5-7-13-16-23-40
After scoring a top 10 hit in 1990 with "Walk On By", Sybil Lynch disappeared for a bit but returned in early 1993, singing vocals on West End's (effectively Stock and Waterman under an assumed name) cover of "The Love I Lost", leading to a revival of her solo career, which saw her perform this track written by the legendary producers.
26(26) ANNIE LENNOX - Little Bird/Love Song For A Vampire (311 points) Top 40 run: 3-3-3-3-5-7-12-17-25-29
A double A-side which saw the haunting "Love Song For A Vampire", which was taken from the Francis Ford Coppola film "Bram Stoker's Dracula", paired with the much more upbeat "Little Bird". The single went straight in at no.3 and spent four weeks there. The same song occupied the top spot during those four weeks but three different singles were at no.2. The videos for both tracks were recorded when Lennox was heavily pregnant and this would be her last release before taking some time off from music. She returned in 1995 with her second solo album "Medusa" and the no.2 single "No More 'I Love You's".

The last great musical moment of Annie Lennox's solo career, Medusa and everything that followed was just covers, although I did like her cover of "No More I Love Yous".
The Eurythmics made a brief comeback in 1999.
M People had a #2 single with Moving On Up and three #2 albums but never a #1.

'Into the west' from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack is another stunning musical performance by Annie. I did really like the 'Medusa' album too.

Part 4 (25-21):
25(30) WEST END & SYBIL - The Love I Lost (322 points) Top 40 run: 14-5-3-3-4-8-10-14-16-21-35
Produced by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, this cover of the Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes song from 1973 was a no.3 hit at the start of the year and showcased Sybil's vocal talents much better than the follow-up single they wrote for her.
24(18) TAKE THAT - Pray (322 points) Top 40 run: 1-1-1-1-3-9-15-22-36
Take That's first no.1 single and one of four chart toppers in 1993 to go straight in at no.1. Three of those were by Take That, but this is the only one of the three to make the top 40 of this list. They'd previously had a couple of near misses with "Could It Be Magic" reaching no.3 and "Why Can't I Wake Up With You?" peaking at no.2. This single firmly established their status as the country's top pop act - a mantle they would hold on to until their split in 1996.
23(11) GEORGE MICHAEL, QUEEN & LISA STANSFIELD - Five Live EP (325 points) Top 40 run: 1-1-1-2-4-6-16-22-27
The other single to debut at no.1 was this EP, consisting of five live tracks recorded at two concerts during the previous two years. "Somebody To Love" got the bulk of the airplay and was recorded at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992, as was "These Are The Days Of Our Lives", which saw George Michael duet with Lisa Stansfield. The other three tracks, covers of "Killer", "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and Bob Telson's "Calling You" were all recorded at a show at Wembley Arena in 1991 (the day before the live version of "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" with Elton John was recorded). Proceeds from the EP went to the Mercury Phoenix Trust.
22(27) BILLY JOEL - The River Of Dreams (345 points) Top 40 run: 21-12-6-4-5-3-4-6-11-17-22-38
Joel's first top 10 hit in four years, and to date, his last. This gospel-influenced track reached no.3 on both sides of the Atlantic. The video features his then-wife Christie Brinkley painting what would become the cover of his "River Of Dreams" album.
21(25) SPIN DOCTORS - Two Princes (350 points) Top 40 run: 33-19-12-4-3-5-5-8-9-11-16-25-35
Spin Doctors were a New York band who found belated success with their debut album "Pocket Full Of Kryptonite". It was released towards the end of 1991 but it wasn't until almost a year later when "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" started gaining airplay in the States that they found mainstream success. That single reached no.17 over there and in 1993 this track then reached no.7 and became their first UK hit, peaking at no.3 in June. The band continued recording without much chart success but maintained a loyal fanbase. Things were paused in 1999 when singer Chris Barron lost his voice due to a rare form of vocal cord paralysis but he made a full recovery and the band started up again in 2001, continuing today.

When I’m Good And Ready is fabulous, although it took me close to 25 years before I actually listened to the whole album.
I’d forgotten about that terrible East 17 song.

Part 5 (20-16):
20(22) URBAN COOKIE COLLECTIVE - The Key, The Secret (352 points) Top 40 run: 40-29-20-11-6-2-2-4-6-7-13-20-33
The debut hit for the British dance act. They would have three more top 40 hits over the next year but wouldn't have another until a remixed version of this track reached no.31 in 2005. They also recorded a version of Oasis' "Champagne Supernova" in 1996 but weren't granted permission to release it. Original singer Diane Charlemagne died in 2015 but the group still continues today.
19(24) BITTY McLEAN - It Keeps Rainin' (Tears From My Eyes) (362 points) Top 40 run: 31-19-5-3-3-2-2-4-7-11-24-35
Capitalising on the 1993 reggae craze, this Fats Domino cover was a huge no.2 hit for the Birmingham singer. He would go on to have two further top 10 hits in 1994 and supported UB40, Wet Wet Wet and Simply Red on arena tours. He appeared on Later... With Jools Holland as recently as 2013, performing vocals for the Lee Thompson Ska Orchestra.
18(12) BLUEBELLS - Young At Heart (363 points) Top 40 run: 5-1-1-1-1-2-8-13-22-39
Written by Siobhan Fahey and then-boyfriend Bobby Bluebell, this song first appeared on Bananarama's 1983 album "Deep Sea Skiving", where Keren Woodward and Sara Dallin were also given a writing credit. Bobby's band the Bluebells recorded their own version in 1984, reaching no.8. It was later featured in a car ad, leading to its release in 1993 and it spending four weeks at no.1. The band split up in 1986 but reformed especially to perform this track on TOTP when it topped the charts and there have been several reformations since.
17(20) FREDDIE MERCURY - Living On My Own (367 points) Top 40 run: 5-2-1-1-2-4-6-11-17-28-39
Originally released in 1985, this was an electro-pop track from Freddie's first solo album that somehow failed to make the top 40, despite Queen's huge popularity. This No More Brothers remix saw it finally become a hit eight years later, giving Freddie a posthumous solo no.1. (Back when a remix involved more than just sticking a simple beat over the existing track - I'm looking at you Kygo, you lazy ****.)
16(23) DINA CARROLL - Don't Be A Stranger (371 points) Top 40 run: 19-10-4-4-3-3-4-5-8-8-16
In late 1993, it looked like Dina Carroll was going to be huge. She had two singles in the top 10 at the same time, including this epic from her debut solo album "So Close" (though the track was re-recorded for the single release with extra strings added). She went on to win Best British Female at the 1994 Brits but then decided to take time off due to exhaustion. She returned in 1996 with the no.3 hit "Escaping" and a new album but had to have surgery to replace a damaged eardrum, which checked her momentum once again. Her last UK hit came in 2001.

Dina Carroll definitely should have been huge - like Tasman Archer where did it disappear so quickly! The Key:The Secret is a classic, and Living On My Own was a bolt out the blue clubbing favourite - great memories of clubbing to this when I was technically not allowed in clubs.
My 1993 favourite is still to appear!

Part 6 (15-11):
15(15) BRYAN ADAMS - Please Forgive Me (378 points) Top 40 run: 3-2-2-2-3-4-7-9-11-11
Despite his rock roots, Bryan Adams and his label now realised slushy ballads were where the money was after his mega-success in 1991. And so we had this track which spent three weeks at no.2 in November and was still inside the top 20 at the end of the year.
14(21) 4 NON BLONDES - What's Up? (383 points) Top 40 run: 20-8-5-2-2-3-4-7-9-13-20-30
This iconic track was the sole top 40 appearance on both sides of the Atlantic for Linda Perry's band. It reached no.2 during the summer, spending 12 weeks inside the top 40. The band split in 1994 and after Perry's solo career failed to catch fire, she focused on writing for other artists, with her best known tracks being Pink's "Get The Party Started" and Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful".
13(19) INNER CIRCLE - Sweat (A La La La La Long) (385 points) Top 40 run: 20-6-5-3-3-3-4-8-10-12-19-23-38
Originally released in 1992, failing to reach the top 40, this track was a big hit at the second attempt and came 14 years after the Jamaican reggae veterans' only previous top 40 appearance. They are also known for their track "Bad Boys", which was used as the theme tune to the US TV series Cops and was actually released as the follow up to "Sweat" but only reached no.52.
12(16) JAZZY JEFF & THE FRESH PRINCE - Boom! Shake The Room (395 points) Top 40 run: 12-3-1-1-2-3-3-5-6-19-33
It was still rare for a hip hop track to reach no.1 but this single hit the top in September, two years after the duo's previous top 40 hit. It would be the first chart-topper for Will Smith, who over time would become more known for his acting but had a run of big hits in the late 90s.
11(17) SNOW - Informer (420 points) Top 40 run: 24-8-2-3-3-2-2-5-10-10-14-20-35-38
Another of the year's big reggae hits, this was the sole UK chart appearance for Darrin O'Brien, who hailed from that hotbed of reggae music, Toronto. The track reached no.2 in the UK and spent seven weeks at no.1 in the US. Questions about his authenticity were inevitable and he was parodied on US comedy show "In Living Color" with Jim Carrey performing a track called "Imposter". Subsequent success in the UK and US eluded him but he enjoyed something of a revival in his native Canada in the early noughties.

I couldn't be arsed to check if he'd actually done something on the record or whether it was just a sample and they'd gone down the modern route of crediting everyone south of Iceland.

Part 7 (10-6):
10(8) HADDAWAY - What Is Love? (426 points) Top 40 run: 18-6-3-3-2-2-3-5-6-9-16-20-32
Nestor Haddaway was a German-based Trinidadian who enjoyed widespread success across Europe with his early releases. This track reached no.2 in the UK and Germany and no.11 in the US. His next three tracks also reached the top 10 in the UK but he hasn't had a hit here since 1995.
9(10) WHITNEY HOUSTON - I Will Always Love You (441 points) Top 40 run: 1-1-1-1-1-2-4-9-17-23-28-36 / 40-25
Appearing for a second year in a row, this track spent a further five weeks at no.1 at the start of the year, having already spent five weeks at the top during 1992. It returned to the chart at Christmas, taking its points total across both years over 800.
8(13) CHAKA DEMUS & PLIERS - Tease Me (444 points) Top 40 run: 13-6-6-4-3-4-4-4-4-7-10-16-19-32
A huge summer hit and another big part of 1993's reggae craze. This infectious track spent a whopping 10 weeks inside the top 10. Their version of "Twist And Shout" would be released at the end of the year and become the first new no.1 of 1994. "Tease Me" is the highest-placed track on this year's list that didn't reach no.1.
7(9) CULTURE BEAT - Mr. Vain (455 points) Top 40 run: 24-12-6-1-1-1-1-3-5-9-13-16-28
Culture Beat was a German eurodance outfit whose tracks sounded like they were created on one of those cheap PC programs filled with a bundle of samples. The vocals came from English singer Tania Evans and US rapper Jay Supreme. They would have two more top 10 hits over the next few months before fading back into obscurity in the UK at least. They continued to remain popular in Germany and Switzerland, despite several line-up changes.
6(5) GABRIELLE - Dreams (458 points) Top 40 run: 2-1-1-1-2-3-3-5-9-13-20-30-31
This track made Gabrielle an overnight star and was the first debut single by a female artist to enter the chart at no.2. It went on to spend four weeks at no.1 and she went on to win Best Newcomer at the 1994 Brits and was also nominated for Best Female, losing out to Dina Carroll. After taking some time off to have a baby, she returned with her second, self-titled album in 1996, which produced the hit "Give Me A Little More Time". Her third album "Rise" came in 1999, led by the single "Sunshine", but it was the title track that sent its sales soaring when it was a no.1 hit in early 2000 leading to her topping both the singles and albums charts at the same time.

5(7) SHAGGY - Oh Carolina (467 points) Top 40 run: 37-18-13-5-2-1-1-2-2-3-8-12-19-26-39
The first hit for Orville Burrell, a Jamaican-born former US Marine who served in the Gulf War. The money wouldn't have been on him having a lasting career on the back of this track but he managed to keep coming back, reaching no.1 in 1995 with "Boombastic", then making a surprise return in 2001 and having back-to-back no.1s with "It Wasn't Me" and "Angel". In recent years, he's collaborated with Sting and Olly Murs, among others, and reportedly turned down the chance to work with Rihanna.
4(2) UB40 - (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You (483 points) Top 40 run: 4-2-2-1-1-2-3-4-8-10-14-18-27-35
The group's third no.1 single and, like the previous two, it was a cover. It was taken from the soundtrack to the latest Sharon Stone boobs 'n' bums thriller "Sliver", which helped it become a huge hit in the States as well, spending seven weeks at no.1. It would be the only US chart-topper by a British act during 1993. There would only be two more over the next three and a half years, both of which also came from blockbuster movies, as British acts went through a major lean spell Stateside (an even worse run would follow in the early noughties).
3(3) ACE OF BASE - All That She Wants (490 points) Top 40 run: 5-2-1-1-1-2-4-4-9-10-13-18-26-30
The first UK hit for the Swedish group comprised of siblings Linn, Jenny and Jonas Berggren and Ulf Ekberg. They'd already had some success in Denmark but this single brought them to the world's attention, reaching no.1 in the UK, Germany, Australia and Canada and no.2 in the US. They would go on to have four further UK top 10 hits during the 90s, despite Linn later opting to take a back seat (and later hiding away from public life completely) with Jenny becoming the main vocalist. Both sisters later left the group and were replaced by new singers, with limited success and there has been no brand new material in over a decade.
2(4) 2 UNLIMITED - No Limit (554 points) Top 40 run: 4-2-1-1-1-1-1-2-4-5-8-10-18-24
The song that ended Whitney Houston's epic 10-week run at no.1, this was the first and only chart-topper for the Dutch duo. As with most of their other releases, Ray Slijngaard's rap was edited out of the UK version, meaning his contribution was effectively reduced to "Techno! Techno! Techno! Techno!" It spent five weeks at no.1 but this was as good as it got for Ray and singer Anita Doth. They would go on to have four more top 10 hits but split in 1996. They later reunited in 2009 and 2 Unlimited continues to this day with Ray and new singer Kim Vergouwen, who replaced Anita in 2016.
1(1) MEAT LOAF - I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) (582 points) Top 40 run: 8-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-3-6-7
The year's biggest seller also tops the points chart but only after overtaking 2 Unlimited in the final week of the year. This epic was Meat Loaf's first new music since 1986 and topped the chart for seven weeks. Written by long-time collaborator Jim Steinman, it was the lead single from the album "Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell". It featured vocals by English singer Lorraine Crosby (credited as "Mrs. Loud" on the album) but her role in the video was played by model Dana Patrick. Crosby, originally from Newcastle, but now based in LA and managed by Steinman, had recorded guide vocals for the track, with the female part intended for Bonnie Tyler or Cher but it was ultimately decided to use Crosby's version. The album version of the track clocks in at a staggering 12 minutes but was edited down to under six minutes for the single release, meaning it misses out on the title of 'Longest UK No.1 Single'. He's released six new albums since then, including "Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose", all of which, reached the top 5 in the UK.
