The climate in Cape Town is much cooler than the rest of the country. During summer it ranges between 25-30 degrees - December and January can be very windy. If you go an hour outside the city and inland the temperature will climb to about 30-35 on average during the summer months. The hottest I have know it in the city is 45 degrees.
Winter is between 12 and 15 degrees, but feels much much colder because of the Benguela current coming off the Atlantic. August it generally rains the entire month - except in 2017, when it didn't rain at all. We were close to "Day Zero" on our reservoirs running out of water and the Mayor was in the process of setting up water collection points and rationing people of the city to 25 litres per day.
No. But my friend has a golf cart, because she plays golf a lot, and I don’t need any excuse to drive it.
I think I would be pitiful at golf, as I’m not very good at sports. OK at badminton, OK at lawn green bowls (I was taught that from an early as my father was a bowls umpire - which I have a really boring story about).
Are you a dog person or a cat person,or neither .............I'd rather have a penguin.
Penguins any day! But they do smell and like to sit in their own poo.
Dog person - I’m a little allergic to cats, but I love them equally. I was brought up with dogs and had a dog of my own at one point. I would love a Labrador, but wouldn’t be fair with my work arrangement.
In my head I like to imagine LastDreamer in the land of Lithuania right now with a suitcase of simcards, a box of chocolates and a wedding ring. It would be a great base for an epic Eurovision fan fiction.
