I just sat through Cats for a second time - and it was truly diabolical.
Notable other mentions:
Snowpiercer - made absolutely no sense whatsoever in the last part. Flood - Completely ruined a really good book. Last Christmas - horrific storyline.

Twice?!
That alone renders your whole thread the work of a madman!

I confess I actually liked 'Cats'. 'Snowpiercer' though we couldn't finish! A few years ago my mum and I went through an unfortunate phase of just happening to see terrible films at the cinema. Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah' (awful and with a very unlikeable main character), 'High Rise' (went to see because of Tom Hiddleston, turned out to be meandering and incomprehensible) and 'A Little Choas' (period drama about Louis XIV's gardener with Kate Winslet and Alan Rickman; just really really dull). I think the worst one of all of these though was 'The Falling' which was just awful and made all the worse by the fact that the only showing left was a mother and baby one and we insisted on going anyway because it had great reviews

Twice?! That alone renders your whole thread the work of a madman! In fairness, the first time was by choice, the second time was not and was literally forced to watch it again.

Greenland. Another trashy Hollywood movie about the end of the world. For some reason I thought that Gerald Butler could have saved it, but no. I watched it on fast forward only to see the special effects (they weren't that great to be honest).

Snowpiercer is fantastic!
For me it has to be anything with Nicolas Cage in - but Ghostrider probably takes the turkey.

Saw RoboCop 3 last night which is definitely worthy of contention.

Saw Carol last night, that's a candidate.
I'm going with the first Casino Royale. With Niven and Sellers it ought to have been a boster. Instead it was a stochastic thrown-together heap of old garbage in which the storyline totally vanishes after about a third, never to reappear.
Others in the frame: Gladiator, Forrest Gump, As Good As It Gets, How Green Was My Valley.

Jarhead: Law of Return
Absolute garbage. There's only a handful of films I never made it all the way till the end and this is the latest one

The sensible answer:
Rocky V: Go For It (1990)
Cats is unintentionally atrocious, but it is destined for its so bad its an entertaining car crash which Showgirls leads that genre.
But can someone explain to me what is remotely good about Hugh Jackman's The Greatest Showman.
It rightfully won a bunch of Razzies & got rinsed at the Oscars in a several jokes the year it came out... Yet went on to become a huge success in the UK, despite a truly horrific soundtrack which was the equivalent of dreadful musical theatre for Britain's Got Talent viewers; and a plot with even more historical inaccuracies than Donald Trump's ludicrous biog on his new website.
I should add I saw the musical Barnum starring Michael Crawford at Oxford when he toured the UK with it in 1985 - it was wonderful, unlike this abomination full of excrement & hokey cringefest songs.

It's on my tivo box to watch, I am something of a masochist. Snowpiercer for me was one of those films where you park any rational thought outside and enjoy an audiovisual spectacle. Plus I was very taken with Ko Ah-sung.

Despite it's success, I thought Interstellar was a bit meh. Maybe I'm judging it from "the best movie ever" mindset but it didn't give me the wow factor.
The worst movie I've seen is Gigli and probably one of a few movies I cannot finish in one sitting. Truly awful for a 'big' budget movie.
The Room is another bad film - although I put this in the "it's so bad it's good" category after seeing and reading The Disaster Artist.
