YEs!! “Wombats are the only animal whose poop is cube-shaped. This is due to how its intestines form the feces. The animals then stack the cubes to mark their territory.”
You will find this “Random Fact” on the official website of Matt Allen otherwise known as his Hip-Hop identity, Nur-D who has brought “Juneteenth Funny Feeling” to the top of the buffet. The ditty is his "Remix" of the Bo Burnham tune “That Funny Feeling.” Nur-D shares the inspiration for his take on the song:
“Bo Burnham is one of my favorite performers. Every special has hit me at a particularly powerful time in my life and I am always finding myself fixated on the music for months after. His latest special "INSIDE" was different than anything he's done before and at the same time probably my favorite work of art he's put out so far.
Towards the end of the special he sings a song called "That Funny Feeling" His words are beautiful and powerful. And as I always do after I hear a beautiful song I reflected on how it spoke to my life personally...and this song poured out of me before I could get into the door of my apartment.
With the world seemingly coming outside again and new dawns on the horizon...idk...I still just have this funny feeling.”
We are delighted to give Nur-D his first Salad🥗Bowl in honour of “Juneteenth Funny Feeling” becoming a #1 Salad🥗Song in its 12th week on the chart.

Waxsimile Productions is a record label and production company operating out of Oakland, California. In 2021, Waxsimile partnered with six queer independent artists to form the Wax Collective. Their first compilation is available on Bandcamp. On their website we learn more:
"The Wax Collective is a group of musicians coming together to do something special. We are a group of queer artists supporting each other in our endeavor to create and thrive off of our creations through sync licensing, song publishing, producing, distribution, and other creations.
We also share a belief that the status quo of the current music business model is unsustainable for independent artists. Therefore, they are daring to do it differently. We want to be like water, to flow easily and quench the thirst of our community. To put forth a host of creations, primarily music, for the good of all. We ultimately want to use music to enhance the human experience."
Dillbilly, who is part of the collective, moves up to the #2 spot on the chart with “Chaparral.” We are thrilled to give another member of the collective Liz DeRoche her first Salad🥗Bowl in honour “Heartbeat” becoming a #1 Salad🥗Song in its 12th week on the chart.

In June pop artist Wrabel unveiled his new track “nothing but the love.” This week it joins the deliciously delightful #1 Salad🥗Songs in its 12th week on the chart.
Wrabel shares, “The lyrical inspiration for the song came from a song my sister-in-law was singing in church. She has such a beautiful voice, and she always sends us videos when she sings in church, and I was struck by the theme of the song and pulled inspiration.
I’m used to writing about unrequited love, or love that left me, that came and went. But now I’m happily in love and I wanted to express that. Having love that just loves and accepts and doesn’t judge. Applying that to a romantic relationship was such a therapeutic practice – just writing it down and putting it into a song. Trying to capture what that feels like. It’s so easy for me to judge myself, and then looking across the dinner table to someone that just loves you is like whoa. It’s like I trust you and love you, and you love me…so I guess I’m not that bad.
It’s often said you can’t love someone till you love yourself, or two halves don’t make a whole, but I don’t know…I disagree with that. For me I think it’s a pendulum, like two cups constantly pouring into one another. To me that’s really beautiful love. Like oh you’re down – I’ll pour into your cup. That’s what I tried to put into this song – having a love you can rely on.
Pulling that from a song from a church, which I have a very colourful history with. I don’t always stand with that. But I love the idea of that kind of love that’s always there and you can tap into. When you find that in a person – that’s such a beautiful and rare thing.” - As told to Mitch Mosk for Atwood Magazine
