I'm not sure if this thread will be a re-launch of my old cycle, but in a current moment of time I'm obsessed with "Boys and Girls". Thanks to my work with 1988 retrospective weekly charts.
Mandy Smith was the first artist signed to Waterman's PWL Records - later the UK home of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.
She had some minor hits in continental Europe, but hardly flopped in UK, where her most successful single "Don't You Want Me Baby" was peaked only at # 59.

All her singles became # 1 in my chart : - I Just Can't Wait (2 weeks) - Positive Reaction (3 weeks) - Boys And Girls (4 weeks) - Victim Of Pleasure (3 weeks) - Don't You Want Me (5 weeks)
She repeated Sue Wilkinson's record, who had 5 out of 5 number ones in 1980-1982 years : - You Gotta Be A Hustler If You Wanna Get On (10 weeks) - Posers - Time'N'Tide - Women Only - Toy Boys
