It's a country banger that sneaks the #1 spot this week and prevents Lawmaker from equalling Vampire Money's record of 7 weeks at #1 this spring

I cannot, however, let this week go by without mentioning my song of the month, now that the cat is out of the bag thanks to the completion of Havenvision 12.
If there were ever to be a new entry straight in at #1, this would deserve the honour

I recognise some names on your chart.
Interrupters had a couple of big hits in my chart, with "By Your Side" getting to #2 in 2016 being their biggest.
Jukebox The Ghost had a #2 with "Hold It In" in 2009 and another big hit "Postcard" quite a lot later.
Belle & Sebastian had several number ones of course.
Jim Bob presumably was the lead singer with Carter USM. His only solo hit in my chart though was in 1999 as Jim's Super Stereoworld with "Bonkers In The Nut" and it wasn't that good.
