Billboard have released their top 50 list of Greatest Rappers of all time. Personally, I think its sh*te. Nicki Minaj ahead of the legendary Ice Cube? Kendrick Lemar ahead of 2Pac? The O.G Ice T as low as 45? Kanye as high as 11? Drake? Really? 01. Jay Z 02. Kendrick Lemar 03. Nas 04. 2Pac 05. Eminem 06. Notorious B.I.G 07. Lil Wayne 08. Drake 09. Snoop Dogg 10. Nicki Minaj 11. Kanye West 12. Andre 3000 13. Rakim 14. LL Cool J 15. J. Cole 16. Scarface 17. 50 Cent 18. Ice Cube 19. Missy Elliott 20. Big Daddy Kane 21. DMX 22. Ghostface Killah 23. Kurtis Blow 24. KRS-One 25. Method Man 26. Big Pun 27. Q-Tip 28. Black Thought 29. Pusha T 30. Lauryn Hill 31. Lil Kim 32. T.I 33. Busta Rhymes 34. Chuck D 35. Future 36. Yasin Bey 37. Common 38. Gucci Mane 39. Ludacris 40. Dr Dre 41. E-40 42. Redman 43. Bun B 44. Queen Latifah 45. Ice T 46. Jadakiss 47. MC Lyte 48. Melle Mel 49. Rev Run 50. Rick Ross www.billboard.com/lists/best-rappers-all-time/42-e-40/

Looks about right to me. I wouldn't have been upset to see Kendrick Lamar higher still... without question a more accomplished rapper and musician than 2Pac.

I have to agree with MadMurray, but for the opposite reasons how any list can have Jay-Z ranked above the GOAT rapper Kendrick Lamar is as erroneous as saying Mariah Carey is a better singer than Aretha Franklin.
I agree with Nas at #3. But I think 2Pac is too high, unlike Notorious BIG I think he is very overrated (due to dying so early). Had he lived he surely would have gone much more down the acting route, which he seemed to have a significant talent for.
Whilst, I think Public Enemy's Chuck D & A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip are far too low.
