The 1975 makes a lot of sense (assuming Matty Healy hasn't managed to get himself definitively cancelled between now and then) Thinking about acts not on that list... Suede? Guess who I was going to suggest Doja Cat?

Obvious one is Madonna. Would be a fun trio to have her with Beyoncé and Swift on stage simultaneously.
The big name that would be pretty cool though...Led Zeppelin. Jason Bonham on stix obvs.

Pet Shop Boys are a great shout. Whilst I think Biffy would do a great job, I feel the way Glastonbury has gone with the stature of its headliners recently, I don't think they're big enough to get the nod. I think Pet Shop Boys have played Glastonbury three times, and last year they headlined (the 2nd largest) The Other Stage on Sunday night (a la Queens Of The Stone Age last night whilst nearly everyone was watching Elton John). So I guess they are not regarded as big enough or indie rock enough to headline the Main Stage. For the same logic much as I'd want to see them headline I'd put Duran Duran in the same level/category (i.e. either second on the bill on the Pyramid Stage/headline the Other Stage). The same as the likes of Manics/Suede/Supergrass who are that tier below Oasis/Blur/Radiohead/Pulp.
If you want an all female set of headliners to join Taylor Swift & Beyonce (I thought Foo Fighters had been booked for Grohlonbury 2024!) then may I suggest an artist currently in the recording studio now, who would presumably want to get that album ready & out & promote it well before her next starring film Joker 2 comes out Oct 4th 2024.
Her only Glastonbury appearance to date was way back 14 years ago when she was being compared to Little Boots; & Marina & The Diamonds...
Lady Gaga - Just Dance (Glastonbury 2009)
^ Obviously if Madonna is booked then this probably would be a non runner.
I'd also suggest trying to book Joni Mitchell for the Sunday afternoon legends spot, but then I remember she was even more uncomplimentary about being compared to Taylor Swift as Her Madgesty was to Gaga, so that won't happen.. so ...
For good measure for the Sunday afternoon Legends spot to keep the "Girl Power" theme of the festival going then you surely have to book The Spice Girls.
Realistically I suspect the G2024 Pyramid Stage headliners will be:
Oasis The 1975
Foo Fighters Taylor Swift

I'd definitely be at one of the other stages of the 1975 were headlining.

Got to be Eminem. I certainly hope so anyway, that would be amazing.

Taylor Swift has added more European dates to her tour next year and has scheduled 3 shows at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin the same weekend as Glastonbury... 🤔

She's making a reported $13m per show, so you can see what's on her mind when making these sorts of decisions.
I had this conversation with friends while packing up our tents a couple Monday's ago. We must have still been feeling a little wonky as our collective dream line-up looked more like:
Oasis ABBA Frank Sinatra (Sunday legend slot) Queen
If only.

Seeing as the UK Piano Man went down a storm at this year's Glastonbury, what about booking the US equivalent for 2024. I've always admired him for walking away from making new music rather than continue and release decreasing returns (something which a few acts today would have better legacies had they done the same).

I was lucky enough to see Billy in Old Trafford in 2018 - he'd be a perfect Glasto headliner.
