Glastonbury 2024 - You pick the surprise covers band
Inspired, by the other Glastonbury 2024 headliners thread, the surprise set of Glastonbury 2023 was this collaboration by late 1980s/early 90s pop star Rick Astley back by Stockport's finest act since 10cc, Blossoms covering the back catalogue of the 1980s indie pop legends The Smiths:
Rick Astley with Blossoms - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out (Glastonbury 2023)
Which got me thinking realistically if you have Singer A with Band B to cover Act C's back catalogue who would you choose to go down a storm at Glastonbury 2024?
Realistically, Singer A & Band B should be active acts; and Act C have either split up or are dead/no longer able to perform.

Off the top of my head it would be great if Act C could be Tina Turner.
Lizzo and Beyoncé?

10CC would be a good choice of Act C.

10CC would be a good choice of Act C. Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) & The Feeling cover 10cc. That would definitely work.
I'll start off with a bit of an obvious suggestion which has already happened ....
St Vincent + Foo Fighters = Nirvana

Brandon Flowers with Catfish and the Bottlemen doing the Rolling Stones. The most exciting part of this would be seeing Catfish back together; haven't they basically imploded?

Yeah last time i checked there was only Van McCann and the bassist left and they haven't updated social media since 2021 or played live

Ah didn't really realise they were inactive. Shame, cracking tunes! How about Yungblud & Wolf Alice doing the Sex Pistols, although I cant stand Yungblud, so I need a new frontman, Harry Styles?
