4th Qualifying Round (Round 6):
Worthing v BATH CITY
Curzon Ashton v TAMWORTH
Meanwhile, the opponents for North Yorkshire-based Whitby Town in the NORTHERN section of the draw are... Chelmsford City, in Essex, which is actually closer to Amsterdam than it is Whitby.

Most places are closer to Amsterdam than Whitby. Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Helsinki and Barcelona to name just four !

Maybe they'll have a weekend in Whitby to sample its ample pleasures

Draw this afternoon at 2.30 on itv as the titans of Wrexham, Notts County and Salford join in! Lowest ranked team left in? Cray valley paper mills? Worksop? Sure they’ll say this afternoon.

Worksop are step 3 so it's definitely not them.

I think we have Alfreton & Barnet now, who got Walsall at home and Newport County away.

1-1 against Cray Valley Paper Mills, us essentially starting with the squad players who are not normally first team regulars, although Scott Fraser has been a first time player at times.
Apart from the goal, the one really good chance fell to Charlie Kirk who we bought from Crewe a couple of years ago but has really lost it as a good player and many of us wonder why he's here. Alfie May would have buried that, but he wasn't getting into those goalscoring positions. And we didn't bring on Corey Blackett-Taylor who is our biggest creator.
At least we get a replay and can be them there. Will Michael Appleton treat it as "more time for these players" or will he just put on the stars from the outset, let's see if we can get a 3-0 lead, then take a few of them off?
If we can win there and at Gillingham who knows who we might get in the 3rd round?

Portsmouth and Charlton were absolutely terrible today. To be fair to Portsmouth they were playing a very experienced Chesterfield side, but if that is their first team, how are they top of league 1? As for Charlton B not beating a tier 8 side, so so poor. This is where I'm glad we lost to Hollywood United!

Walsall beat Alfreton and Newport beat Barnet in a replay, so the Haven teams are now WALSALL and NEWPORT COUNTY.

Blackpool beat Forest Green, denying us a first-ever Forest derby between FGR and Nottingham Forest.
