Only 1 per day? I have 71 songs in my Christmas playlist, I'll still be posting them in late January! Let's start with this one. It's slightly off kilter for Half Man Half Biscuit, in that it's really a heartwarming affirmation of all things festive. I really agree with the sentiment too - Christmas can be whatever you make it, you can ignore the whole thing if you wish, but constantly banging on about how it's too commercial is very boring. The line "Jingle bells, piney smells" is great too (Like so much of my favourite music, I probably discovered this through someone else at Haven posting about it. If so, thank you, whoever you are, and Merry Christmas!)

Black Arts is on my playlist but isn't on Spotify. Can't remember if that ever was.
My Christmas #1 from 2011 "Christmas With Bing" by Poncho Pirates was removed from both Spotify and youtube, having previously been on both.
"Christmas Telly" by Ghost Station was my Christmas #1 of 2016 and I entered it that year for XmasVision.

This has become a firm favourite at Casa Hupin during Christmas. I think I first heard it one year while out shopping at Asda. The lyrics had me cracking up as it's from a very Latin American viewpoint. They seem to have extra reindeer; Poncho and Pedro. Plus, Santa seems to have castanets too! Not likely to be the kind of music o likes. Nor the Leona Lewis song that was out the same year.

One More Sleep is a classic and is on my playlist too. In my chart it was her biggest hit (by a long way). The youtube version suffers from it being cut short.

The Great Escape - Not a Christmas song, but of course love it! 'Course its a Crimbo song. It was on tv every Christmas for decades. As Christmassy as Andre Preview and the Wiz of Oz.

This song is crying out to be covered or used in a Xmas related programme and turned into a Seasonal standard it deserves to be: Thea Gilmore - That'll Be Christmas

This one seemed quite popular with a few users on Buzzjack a few years ago:
