Suggest one song a day that should be on my Spotify playlist. It can be a well known classic or something more obscure. Sell it to me if it needs selling  I’ll obviously say if I already have the song on. I currently have just 31 which is a little short for car journeys, etc. Do just one song suggestion a day please. The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping
I hope you already have it, but if not, My reasons it is not as overplayed as other 80s songs. It still has not gone top 40 but it got very close last year. But really it is a perfect bubblegum new wave classic. I will never be sick of it.

The Pretenders - 2000 Miles
Yeah it's a bit sappy but I love everything about it, the fade-in, that main riff and the way she sings 'it felt like Christmas time'. Just love it. Unironically my favourite Pretenders song.

Great minds and all that, this is one of my alltime faves as well, obviously Home Alone brought it to my attention fully I think? Sadly spotify only seems to have a live version which is ok, but not as good. Hang on, they've added the original! Brilliant! Hope it stays on there! |
