I always wonder how long these sources will last, think I have been using it for over ten years. Well it seems it was ran by a Spotify employee and sadly he is one of the workers that lost his job last week. Replaced by the automation he helped create and ironically that same automation should have kept going after he left. It is working within Spotify but everynoise.com is not updating today so looks likely that the connection is now inactive. If anybody else knows a way to get all the new releases in Spotify each week ideally by genre, let me know. everynoise.com/new_releases_by_genre.cginot R.I.P yet but on life support.....

www.heavyblogisheavy.com/tag/release-day-roundup/This is a pretty great resource for new heavy rock and metal albums, but as well as being limited to that niche it's US-based and only publishes on release day so about 3pm our time. Still, it's quite handy as they link to a song from each release (and they like to have fun with the genre tags )

I had a brief twitter thread with the owner of everynoise the other day where he gave me some tips - I'd like to get some scripts up and running but it definitely won't be plausible for me to work on it before Christmas.
I tried scraping the 1000 songs available by searching for "new" but it only turned up 6-7 songs from the set of genres we were interested in.

To be fair it’s 2 weeks before Xmas releases will be down but you should be getting more than that of course. Let me know how you get on and even better if you host something

When they started limiting the search results it became an issue but Spotify didn't have genres so I had to use iTunes for that.
I used to run 3 scripts to make my release lists, Spotify, iTunes and YouTube, the latter to search for videos and it used a graphics tool to detect audios.

it is dead dead now, server hosting even the last weeks songs that were compiled is dead
