Nickelback. For all the dreadful songs Nickelback have foisted upon us, How You Remind Me is great and would happily listen to today.

I have a theory that every band, no matter how bad, has at least one good song (though I'm yet to find one for Imagine Dragons). Nickelback actually have two. The other isn't "Rockstar".
Evanescence are OK but I always felt the bloke adds absolutely nothing to this song.

I actually like both of these but 'Bring Me To Life' is definitely my favourite.

They are both fantastic, but Bring Me To Life just gets the win for me.

I don't get the dislike for Nickelback but I voted Evanescence because I like that song more
In fact the intense dislike for Nickelback annoyed me because there was a huge shortage of rock in the charts at the time, and when something decent did come along that was more accessible, rock fans turned their noses up at it.

She said on a podcast i listened to that the record label wouldn't release the song or their album unless they allowed the label to have some random dude rap on the song for no other reason than rap metal was briefly getting some huge success, so she had to compromise or none of their best work would ever have been released. She said she cried when she heard the song was ruined by the bloke rapping

How You Remind Me for me but Bring Me To Life is great too, the difference is one isn't ruined by a rap in the middle

I don't actually hate the dude rapping but it's hard to see that it wouldn't have been much better without it.

The right song won, I dont have a problem with the rap, and Linkin Park did some amazing songs.
