Yup,and the album featured songs from the whole of 1983 as NOW 1 was released in time for Christmas that year.

Some of the R&B nonsense, American pop and huge US-friendly rock match up but not very much Yep I saw some US Now Compilations in the Oxford St HMV last summer, and that basically sums it up. A lot of the songs on it weren't released over here, which is why I realised it was the US version. Bloddy expensive though it cost about £21 on import!

I don't think I've ever seen the US Now series feature an international act which wasn't popular in the US. That's the huge problem with American pop music.........too little acts from overseas

The US versions get 20 tracks and more than half of it is rap/hip hop
