Bought this on the way home today. Anyone else got it? If so, what do you think?
Listened to it in the car on the way back and initial thoughts are it's ok. Nothing too fantastic though, only about 4 tracks really grabbed me.

It's no "Fat Of The Land" All a bit dated IMO. They haven't changed with the times.

Tracklisting... "Spitfire" - Eastern wailing for half a minute before turning into standard album track a la Fat Of The Land. 3.5/5 "Girls" - I like this, although not necessarily a progression. A hybrid between "Fat Of The Land" and "Jilted Generation" which distinct touches of Chemical Brothers thrown in for good measure. 4.5/5 "Memphis Bells" - Similar in feel to "Girls" but not quite as good. 4/5 "Get Up Get Off" - Features Twista. Not keen out of principal. Get Basement Jaxx "Jump And Shout" instead. 2/5 "Hotride" - Great instrumental track which is remeniscant of the Batman theme. Unfortunately they've put vocals on it (common theme on the album) but it does get away with it. Growing on me more each play. 4/5 "Wake Up Call" - Lyrics bravely say "We're back on form, you'd better wake up" - which they're not really. Alarm rings in the background, time for Liam to wake up. 2/5 "Action Radar" - This is another fantastic instrumental which kind of reminds me of big beats over a Human League track... anyway, slightly marred my shouty lyrics from Paul Jackson - Louise Boon's vocals are ok if distinctly in the background. 4/5 "Medusa's Path" - The token slower (for Prodigy) instrumental. Not even vaguely in the same league as "The Narcotic Suite" on Jilted Generation. 2/5 "Phoenix" - Very nondescript so no description. 2/5 "You'll Be Under My Wheels" - On an advert at the moment, although not sure which. Kinda "Voodoo People #2". 4/5 "The Way It Is" - Based on "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. Again, it's ok but nothing special. 3.5/5 "Shoot Down" - Now come on... Liam Gallagher on vocals? Hello!!! Chemical Brothers did the Oasis thing back in '96 and then again in '99 for good measure. Still the best thing a Gallagher has done since Liam appeared on the Death In Vegas track... which in turn was the best thing a Gallagher had done since Noel appeared on a Chemicals track... 3.5/5 Whole album - Not great, not bad either. All been done before and done much better. Go buy the Chemical Brothers "Dig Your Own Hole" instead if you don't already own it... 3/5
