But we get worse comments the other way around, i.e. from rockers who never walked the pop side. Both groups believe great songs exists only on their patch. In fact there are great pop songs and great rock songs, and both require talent. |

But a great pop song sometimes only needs a catchy beat? A decent rock song needs a catchy bit and lyrics to boot?
