OK, I'm usually pretty open minded about music, but I have to draw the line with Ronan of late. He had some ok songs in the past but he's just gone beyond the realm of good taste with this last release. Yet *another* US country remake, and yet *another* sappy sentimental cringeworthy piece of rubbish. I just can't believe he still has such a large audience for this kind of drivel. I don't get it. I sorta liked his song 'Lost For Words' from last year, it was kinda different sounding, but it flopped! Now this piece of cack has a shot at being #1! I don't know... maybe I'm just overreacting because I've stressed out lately!!! But dammit I can't be the only one who is beginning to find this crap offensive! There, vent finished. I feel better now...

Totally agree, I just have to see the vid with him in a corn field and I hit change channel button, I do secretly hope a combine harvester will come and mash him into 100 pieces though  What I dont get is Ronan does this drivel, it gets to #2 and the kids love it? 8-)Yet if Cliff did it, it would be derided... 8-)It's the same drivel...

he's completely clutching at straws with all these old covers now, he's so desperate to stay successful he has to do quick cheap country covers so radio 2 will lap it up and all the housewives and nans will run to the shops to buy him! he's so smug, i can't wait for the day his career goes down the pan (probably after he's massacred another 50 american country tracks!)
