Nat resolves CD imbroglio

Natalie Imbruglia's music career is back on track and she is expected to release a single before Christmas.
Not only has she completed her third album, in London, but she is also planning a promotional tour centred around the new CD, which is likely to be released early next year.
The singer, actor and model is being supported by her husband Daniel Johns in London as she prepares to unveil her new sound. Insiders say the tracks are artistically (and commercially) strong, prompting suggestions she may have returned to the top-level form displayed on her debut album Left Of The Middle.
Imbruglia was nominated for a Grammy for her debut album - which sold millions of copies worldwide - but there was less enthusiasm for her follow-up White Lilies Island. The singer was criticised for the three-year delay between her first and second albums, prompting concerns her third release might take even longer. (Even reps from her Australian record company BMG were unaware whether she was recording or not, when questioned earlier this year.)
But after marrying Johns on New Year's Eve last year, Imbruglia buckled down to write and produce a new set of songs, away from her screen career (in films including Johnny English) and as a spokeswoman for a cosmetic company.
A London source told S that Imbruglia was thrilled with the new tracks and excited about relaunching her music career. A spokeswoman for BMG in Australia confirmed Imbruglia's album would be released early next year.
Imbruglia and Johns are based in Britain at the moment, so it's unlikely Johns will head home for the ARIA awards on October 17, despite four nominations for his band, the Dissociatives. The former Silverchair frontman was reportedly chuffed about the nominations, but his band mate Paul Mac will represent the Dissociatives at the awards ceremony.
