Blue Eyes - 7 Go-Go Dancer - 8 (is it just me, or can't you hear David's voice that well? ) Three - - 9 Silver Shorts - 9 Come Play With Me - 10 California - 6 Flying Saucer - 10 Boing! - 7 Love Slave - 8 Sticky - 6 Queen From Outer Space - 9 No Christmas - 7 Thorney, IIRC, there was another one (Three ?) which a,lso spent two weeks on the chart...

David's voice becomes more prominent when you get to Silver Shorts, and there onward apart from perhaps Sticky.
For hits 4-6 Ian Broudie was brought in as producer. It was at this point that the singles starting reaching the NM chart too. The first 3 didn't chart and the last 9 all did, although Boing, Sticky and No Christmas didn't reach my top 10.

So, how did they do in your chart, then?

my ratings and positions in my chart:
6 Blue Eyes - 4 Go-Go Dancer - 6 Three - 8 Silver Shorts #6 9 Come Play With Me #8 9 California #3 10 Flying Saucer #1 6 Boing! #13 8 Love Slave #4 4 Sticky #14 8 Queen Of Outer Space #7 3 No Christmas #20
My marks out of 10 are based relatively on David Gedge's other material, i.e. other Wedding Present and Cinerama.
By the way, yes, I think a lot of these songs are better than the overrated Seamonsters, albeit that Seamonsters was a breakthrough album in that it sort-of introduced a grunge feel to rock slightly before Nirvana and way before Radiohead.

Although I don't remember any of the songs particularly well, I am fairly sure I hated them all. I remember by April I was completely bored and irritated by them. So there!

None of them are exactly bad, but some are hardly memorable. Come Play With Me was excellent though.

lol, I'm surprised any stayed top 75 for a 2nd week, they were limited runs though, I think it was 10,000 for each release, so if all the 10,000 sold in the first week, there was no alternative but for it to drop out;)
